Here is a good idea.
I'm sat watching my second team Airdrie live in the final against The New Saints from Oswestry in the Welsh league.
Why don't they scrap the Premier League teams sending their children teams which attract from 300 to 1000 and instead, invite all the League 1 and 2 clubs, then the Welsh Premier League clubs, plus the Scottish Championship clubs and have a British competition?
Think about it. Dundee United, Dunfermline, Airdrie, St Johnstone, Arbroath and teams like that would be a much more attractive fixture than Brentford under 18s.
Group B. Blackpool, Llandudno and Queen of the South.
Thoughts on those fixtures for example.
Oh and Airdrie are 2-1 up after 67 minutes by the way in the final.
