This board is going to go into meltdown

I think whoever it is (McCarthy included) will be a breath of fresh air and will be afforded longer than Appleton.

McCarthy at least has a proven track record at this level and I can understand why he might be hired until the end of the season.

Either way, it wasn’t working under Appleton and wasn’t going to, a change was needed.

I'm looking forward to Saturday a lot more than I was before this afternoon's announcement.
Armfield will be even busier, BR atmosphere will be better, and the home stands busier (I hope). Can't wait.

I was partly dreading Saturday, toxic atmosphere, Carey and Patino midfield pairing (again), top scorer on the bench etc.

Not too bothered if it's McCarthy, but I just feel our players would have to grow 6 inches each to play the style he used at Cardiff. That's why I don't think it's him. No idea if he varies his playing style?

We'll see soon enough, I've enjoyed speculation on here today though.
 
I've got it on excellent authority that Critchley has recommended Lampard and he's interested. Honest, there's this bloke goes in Spoons, who knows this bloke.....

Seriously though its going to be interesting who is appointed , some of the names banded about are laughable.
 
Lets be honest......Were open to anybody who's managed a football team rather than Appleton
Dave Smith, the manager of Spirit of Youths' under 8's girls team is a better option than Appleton
Fuck me.......Ryan Lowe is a better option.........second thoughts......He's shit

That was Warnock. They went on a six game winning run with McCarthy where it looked like they might get in the play offs. But then went on the opposite with an eight game losing run last season shortly after bullying us and then he got sacked.

We'd obviously have to hope we got the winning run version. Or at least got a reaction so that our defeats become few and far between and can do more than just draw games.

Yep....no one agrees on anyone pretty experienced manager...old has been. Young manager.... Not what we need...no experience .
Yes it's going to be a tricky appointment whoever the NB ext lucky victim is .
Someone left of centre with some sort of tie with the club and a lucky 3 points against Hudders and that'd do me

I think if it is,it will just be till end of season give them time to make sure they get the right man in the summer
