Thousands March through the streets of London

What actually is the law currently on protests and gatherings? Does the rule of 6 not apply if it is an organised protest?

So basically any company or organisation can organise a mass gathering as long as the relevant health and safety survey has been completed first? As long as it’s a political protest.
Have I read that correctly?

“Yes it was your right to protest to the lockdown, but unfortunately that has now precluded you from the vaccine as you didn’t believe you could pass on the virus to others, or frankly didn’t care?
If you can contact Liberty maybe they can vaccinate you?”

Why are they morons ?

Poultongirl

Moron:- “.........a person who is notably stupid or lacking in good judgement”

There is a world wide pandemic, against which, there is not yet a 100% proven antidote.
The ONLY option for any government/ruling body to tackle this problem is to impose sanctions (regardless of how severe) on the population in an attempt to at least reduce the spread of the (deadly) virus. 52 deaths in the North West in the last 24 hours)
As you know these restrictions involve limited numbers coming together and of course the wearing of face masks.

Do you not think that people who gather in their thousands with a large percentage not wearing facial protection deserve to be called morons?

In fairness, protests don't seem to have any noticeable / signifcant impact on the virus transmission.
Not seen any data around that I'm afraid. Odd if so as thousands congregating together, without masks, you would think could be the perfect storm. I mean, they've banned footy fans so....

It would possibly be "The Perfect Storm" if they were congregating together inside or (in the case of a football stadium) entering a facility that had shared toilet facilities and numerous multiple touch points etc... As it is, it is a large group of people outdoors and previous events don't seem to have kicked off any noticeable issue, despite the suggestion that they would on pretty much every occasion.

It was very good and well organised at Bloomers pal. Had to queue for toilets and well signposted etc. I was very impressed.
Cant comment on protests as not been to one since the Oyscum years.

Let’s move Blackpool matches to Stanley park then 👍
