That never happened under Grayson....
We should have won easily today but the finishing was atrocious. some nice build up play but it must be disheartening for the midfielders, Anderson went looking for goal himself in desperation.
Maybe a confidence thing and when one goes in the floodgates will open. UTMP
Spider you are abit of a depressive prick, go get some happy pills from the doc.Not winning becomes a habit....
Their manager did a job on us...
Theyre normally free flowing ......
We couldnt do a job on them....
Totally agree with this. I've even stated it in my post.Yates is being allowed to chase the ball. He should be stopped and made to wait for the ball in and around the edge of the penalty area or (a la Lineker) poach on the edge of the six yard box.
And three past England’s goalkeeper, everyone needs to calm down, on another day we would scored 4 yesterday, someone’s gonna get a hiding soon and the positivity will flow. Maybe not on here thoughCrazy how people seem to just ignore putting two past the champions of England who also have one of the best gk’s in the world between the sticks... any excuse to be negative eh
Just miss the depressive out.Spider you are abit of a depressive prick, go get some happy pills from the doc.
A preseason friendly is not a yard stick to measure a team in competitive matches. One goal in five competitive games for the manager is a poor record. After the dismal Grayson experiment Sadler then has picked a guy with zero experience of managing. His team is littered with league two standard players and it showed yesterday in what was one of the poorest performances i can recall. Zero cutting edge up front. Nottingham wasn't good enough two years ago. Critchley will end up worse than Grayson. The post Oyston era has been awful on the pitch.Crazy how people seem to just ignore putting two past the champions of England who also have one of the best gk’s in the world between the sticks... any excuse to be negative eh

It's still 3 competitive games without a goal.Give over.. 1 was the Carabao Cup and the other EFL trophy
was one of the poorest performances i can recall

Yeah, I understand that, you only have to look how Liverpool play. But here's the point. Although Firmino drops deeper than the other two, those other two get themselves into the box. If Mane is out wide left, Salah gets himself into the box and vice versa. That's what we don't really do[yet].Wanting Yates to play the traditional number 9 role in this formation shows how little some people know about football.
There is no place for that role when using these tactics, do some research, there's more to football than 442.
Those stats are a very good start however what I did notice is that of those 19 shots we had 4 on target. If we can look to double this number per game, we will have an excellent season whilst scoring plenty of goals. Swindon yesterday had something like 9 shot on target scoring three goals, which is a ratio of one in three. This is what we need to be trying to achieve.19 shots
64% possession
Passes 565 Accuracy 83 %
Anyone looking at those stats would guess we'd have won it was just a bad day at the office in front of goal.
I think it will all take time to come together, it's more foolish to think that such an overhaul and transition to a new system will be instantaneous like some people expect; we're already at the stage where Yates isn't good enough in some peoples eyes.Yeah, I understand that, you only have to look how Liverpool play. It's all well and good putting the ball into the box, even though at times the balls/passes/crosses are terrible we are just not getting enough men in there. So for example if Hamilton is going down the right, the left wide player needs to be thinking of getting into the box a bit quicker.

I won't quote all your post but basically there's some on here whose content is simply not worth paying attention to. They are just trying to wind you up. Pretty obvious who they are, just ignore their posts.
