Critch must be mixing things up to bamboozle Rooney & Co, who have a Covid weakened team.
I hope this selection comes off, as December's games are against teams where we should & we must pick up wins.

Jerry and Shayne didn’t look great as a partnership so if Gaz G isn’t fit then probably Carey in behind is our best option.

That is unless we try to drill the ball aerially upto Shayne which will be pointless. So we are going to need to play the channels and go for ball retention and patience.

I don't know how Shayne hasn't lost the will to live with the number of times he is on the shoulder of his defend calling for the ball for a run-through.
Instead whoever has the ball turns and plays it sideways or back.
I am frustrated for him.
 
I hope I'm wrong but the team seem to have no midfield creativity. I think if lavery wants to score it might have to be by chasing down their defenders. I'm starting to get a bit cheesed off with Critch being ultra cautious. It looks like a 0-0 sort of game (cue goal in first 5 minutes

Yep, problem is I think he's good without being quite good enough anywhere.

Decent at CB but perhaps not quite big enough, can play RB but you wouldn't pick him ahead of a proper RB, decent enough as a DM but not quite top drawer, a nice player to have around but perhaps one you don't want to actually see playing.

Anyway let's hope he has a good game today.
 
Gabriel must start every game for me. As much as I love Critchley I don’t agree with benching Gabriel whatsoever and the tinkering is beginning to get on my tits. I do love the fact we can have any 1 of 2 for each position however changing the personal each game isn’t going to work
