Neither could find there own arse with both hands. Liz Truss would be hilarious as pm though. Makes Boris look intelligent.Got to be Truss, completely out of her depth in any of her cabinet posts, it'll be comical to see her trying to run the country..... although it'll be shit for the country.
Aye, but just think of the new pork markets she can open up.Got to be Truss, completely out of her depth in any of her cabinet posts, it'll be comical to see her trying to run the country..... although it'll be shit for the country.
Comments like this are why the Tories were handed an 80 seat majority, you lot just don’t learn.the real old school tories have got a real dilemma on their do they let their racism or their sexism prevail
I smell a member of the Conservative & Unionist Party.when the ballot papers come out, I'll be voting for Rishi, not because I want him as PM but because Truss would be a disaster
No it wasn't.Comments like this are why the Tories were handed an 80 seat majority, you lot just don’t learn.
You're happy with the two candidates? And how did comments like those gain an 80 seat majority? They aren't snappy/catchy enough to be put on the side of a bus.Comments like this are why the Tories were handed an 80 seat majority, you lot just don’t learn.
no need to try and smell, I'll make it really clear for you, I've been a member (and for many years, activist) within the party since I was old enough to join the Young Conservatives in the '70s apart from when I was living overseas and when "Call Me Dave" was the party leaderI smell a member of the Conservative & Unionist Party.
I'm just spat out my brew out. Funny as that commentTruss should give Boris a minister without portfolio role if she gets the top job and he could basically be a troubleshooter. If talks are deadlocked whether that be trade deals or issues with individual countries then get Boris involved to get things moving by the sheer force of his character. Think Boris would enjoy it as well as he wouldn’t have to be on top of his brief and as he’s loved overseas he’d be a real asset for the country.
Tory Party members want the globe to be 1/3rd empire pink. They want capital punishment. They want national service - it never did them any harm. They want convicts to be flogged. They want mandatory military bands on Sundays. The want an end to unemployment benefits. They want children to be seen and not heard. They want Imperial measurements. They want a return to grammar schools and the 11+. They want to wave the Union flag. They don't want immigrants. They want no Irish, no blacks and no dogs. They want to be under 70 years of age but they're not.Party members want standard party policies, which is tax cuts, Rishi might have to review his stance
It could also suggest how diverse we have become, including the Tory party, in terms of sex and colour when the last two standing in a leadership competition are Sunak and Truss.the real old school tories have got a real dilemma on their do they let their racism or their sexism prevail

I don't believe that the young Conservatives are popular among their adult peers.no need to try and smell, I'll make it really clear for you, I've been a member (and for many years, activist) within the party since I was old enough to join the Young Conservatives in the '70s apart from when I was living overseas and when "Call Me Dave" was the party leader
id like to call her dim-witted but that just lowers the bar for dim wittedAlways worth posting. This is a bit longer than the normal 'pork markets' clip.
Basically put David Brent out of a job. I am going to have to uncurl my toes now.
The apparent diversity of ethnic minorities and women candidates is usurped by the true qualification for being a leading Conservative - class. The Tories can stand colour ethnic minority and women. What they can't stand is the working class. It could also suggest how diverse we have become, including the Tory party, in terms of sex and colour when the last two standing in a leadership competition are Sunak and Truss.
For balance.
Very true Lala. I'm trying to remember when the Labour Party, (the kinder and more inclusive face of politics) had a non white or female leader? It could also suggest how diverse we have become, including the Tory party, in terms of sex and colour when the last two standing in a leadership competition are Sunak and Truss.

They didn't find your grasp of punctuation.Your proctologist called they found your head
have to admit thats very funnyYour proctologist called they found your head
A very good point - I'm not being sarcastic. Labour should choose the best candidate to be leader. Corbyn definitely wasn't. They've had English, Welsh and Scots leaders, a Jewish leader but not a woman and not a person of colour. This needs to be addressed.Very true Lala. I steer clear of scatalogical humour...a tad 4th form. However I'll happily give April his day in the sun.have to admit thats very funny
A bit like the England Women's football team then.A very good point - I'm not being sarcastic. Labour should choose the best candidate to be leader. Corbyn definitely wasn't. I'm rooting for Miz Trust for exactly that reasonwhen the ballot papers come out, I'll be voting for Rishi, not because I want him as PM but because Truss would be a disaster
A bit too trivial that Rusty.A bit like the England Women's football team then.
Not really 66. Enough have said that it needs to be addressed.A bit too trivial that Rusty.
Who was the Jewish leader of the Labour Party? Genuine question btwA bit too trivial that Rusty.
It may do...not my point. The PM is on a completely higher level, but I get the symbolism. Not really 66. Enough have said that it needs to be addressed.
Miliband and they picked the wrong brother.Who was the Jewish leader of the Labour Party? Genuine question btw
Not really when it's party members who get to vote and not the general public.Reckon the Rishi fellah is a better bet at 6/4 than Truss at odds on.
I disagree but not just to be disagreeable. New Labour had had its day. Unfortunately Ed became leader too early. He would have been a fine PM. It is testament to him that he stayed with the party unlike his brother.Miliband and they picked the wrong brother.
Did you see KS today? Mean-spirited, completely unable to offer a single kind word for the outgoing PM. Classless. Not really when it's party members who get to vote and not the general public.
The opinion polls asking membership early on said they'd vote for anyone but Sunak he's going to seriously have to pull this out of the bag and if he does Labour have got a problem.
He stabbed his brother in the back and was only backed by the Unions.I disagree but not just to be disagreeable. New Labour had had its day. Unfortunately Ed became leader too early. He would have been a fine PM. It is testament to him that he stayed with the party unlike his brother.
