Queuing to get into the north at turnstiles 5 & 6 it all kicked off on the pavement behind approx 2.45ish pm. I saw rival fans punching each other, police quickly on the scene (with a very brave female bobby getting involved) - and wrestled one of the people involved to the ground.

All happened very fast whilst getting my 9, 12 n 15 year olds into the ground whilst shielding them.

Why? What is the mentality of these people to come and seek out a fellow football fan to start a fight with them?! They must be brain dead.

It’s Millwall they’ve always been the same and notoriety is what they thrive on, l have memories from the 70s when they came to Bloomfield and they’ve left with their tails between their legs, proper 🛎enders!

That’s football not even newsworthy so stop it, if you don’t like if don’t go 👍🏻

I remember it well, they got well and truly put in their place on the car park behind the Kop and I ended up in the cells for my sins. 😫

There was quite a bit of trouble from Millwall fans in town on friday night.
Especially outside Trilogy.

And they didn't like our players taking the knee today did they!?

And that’s why Millwall players don’t take the knee because their fans boo it. It reflected badly on them as a club so they decided the easiest way was to simply stop doing it !
Eh

No it’s nothing to do with footbal. It’s just a bunch of mindless hooligans who’ve attached themselves to a football club. 99.99% of football fans don’t get involved in trouble and the grounds would be pretty empty if they all gave it up just because of the morons who cant control themselves

Seems a bit OTT surely Gaz, what did he say here to make you flip your lid?

So anyone who doesn't like seeing soft coked up shites windmilling haplessly at each other while upsetting kids and normal people shouldn't go to football?

If they like a fight why don't they take up boxing and learn how to do it properly?
How you know the on coke?

I especially enjoyed the guy waving a bank note at the North on the way out. A grown man, I reckon in his early 60’s flashing a note like he was Rockefeller 😂

Weird perception of Northerners they have.

Oh and a shout out to the guy in the custard coloured tracksuit. Didn’t look like a stag doo but that was a brave choice.

Guy in the custard suit has watched layer cake too many times

Just for a bit of balance we walked up from the D & P towards the ground with a couple of Millwall and their young kids and they were fine and happy to discuss the game...they didnt expect to get anything out of the game and wished us luck....not all of their fans are lunatics...Also been to The New Den a good few times and never had any issues...I am guessing there are plenty of teams who have seen the dark side of our fans over the years but I hope they dont tar all Blackpool fans with the same brush...almost all football teams have a wide diversity of fans.

I saw the slight contretemps outside the north west corner. The Blackpool lad who I think got nicked had just been warned by the police 2 mins earlier after he got involved in another confrontation with 2/3 Millwall ‘fans’

Watching on TV after the sound stayed on and atmosphere sounded great... even had a 'seaside agro'... guess that was because of the wall exiting past North.

But wall... what a huge but horrible team... shame we never did double over them. But agree with others no idea why opposition fans want to just punch each other, particularly one punch..hit deck.. can be game over.

Was it the ghost of Jimmy Savile?

Was on train back to Preston with some millwall fans seemed Ok but mighty disillusioned about how crap their team are . Wouldn't have picked a scrap with them though .
I see our resident Numpties were at it again in the NE corner 🙄 after the final whistle & "bravely" giving it large from behind steel gates outside NE exit , Do they know how pathetic they look 🤫

No need for the personal abuse. We all have opinions that sometimes differ.

He was probably really pleased he had one for once, what with the cost of sub standard housing down in the slums of the smoke, I would imagine he'd saved up for the day out, like a wakes week for deprived Londoners.

We had to walk in the opposite direction to the main Millwall escort. Horrible, not very attractive bunch of the unwashed, most of whom seemed to be expressing their dislike of Blackpool as a place!

Why on mass they decided to boo Blackpool players taking the knee showed their mentality and stupidity.
Don't agree why have we now accepted this racist knee taking it's disgusting and people are stupid supporting it or should I just say thick as pig chit
