Hold tight, Clark in troubleThat's me off to bed, night
Until today's monsoon Hoylake was fried. They've also made it easier with a mickey mouse novelty par three and taking out loads of dog roses.I'm not sure Hoylake suits his game. Birkdale would.

Well excuse me for mentioning the course conditionsThe Open is still a month away so I'm not bothered about the course conditions just yet but why is Fleetwood's game any less suited to Hoylake than Birkdale ?
He often gets himself in to contention at the majors and home advantage - crowd support and home comforts, not necessarily course know how - won't do him any harm.
He'll be competing all of the best golfers in the world and they don't give majors away but surely he has as good a chance of winning a major on his doorstep at Hoylake as anywhere else ?

Little stringy roses that grow like thin brambles. Impossible to play a decent shot if you land in them. What are dog roses?

The fact is these golfers play the bulk of their tournaments on manicured courses of one kind or another and rarely go near a links. Not that Hoylake looks much like a links these days with its watered fairways and tidy rough.
I can certainly provide up to date info on the complete balls up Wirral Council are making of the tournament parking where we live 2020GT
Sorry about that, I just meant that with the Open a month away, the current conditions of the course at Hoylake don't have that much to do with Tommy's chances of winning.
Obviously you can refer to the current conditions if you so wish.
Rory's fecked so bedtime beckons and no doubt the Open will be discussed in more detail in the next month.
Maybe you can provide up-to-date information on the course conditions on the run up to Open at Hoylake
Hoylake is more of a plotter's course, with no need to take a driver. That's his best asset when on song. The Open is still a month away so I'm not bothered about the course conditions just yet but why is Fleetwood's game any less suited to Hoylake than Birkdale ?

Deserved win. Held his nerve brilliantly
didn’t realise he was ScottishSpecial mention to Min Woo Lee - local Perth boy. Top 5 finish in a Major, and one of my favourite golf swings. Shame about R3 otherwise he'd have been right up there.
His Sisters not bad either!Special mention to Min Woo Lee - local Perth boy. Top 5 finish in a Major, and one of my favourite golf swings. Shame about R3 otherwise he'd have been right up there.
