Victory or Sacrifice

Heard a few Pool fans saying they’d sooner see us lose the next two to ditch Critch .. how does everyone feel?

So some fans don't want Critch in charge (possibly never wanted him back) but because he has done too well to sack him, they instead are hoping and want their team to lose the next 2 or so games so that he might be doing badly enough to sack him and get there way. Right got it, that's some twisted logic in there from 'fans'.
I dont want to see my team lose period. I find it odd that anyone would.

I still want them to win the next 5 and see where we are, if we do badly in the next 2 games and we can’t go up then we will see what happens, we can’t predict the future so surely you have to hope for the best and prepare for the worst?

Beggars belief the mentality on here at times. Thankfully it’s a tiny representation of the wider fan base!
So are you saying that the fans that want us to lose the next two games are the mental ones or the fans that want to pay another £400 for next seasons boring football are the mental ones . If I thought that he would definately go after two defeats I would lose two games for that .The sad thing is he won't ,so it does not really matter.

Here's a thought for you all.

We win the last 5 matches and get into the playoffs by some sort of miracle.
We then don't have to win any of those games as the 2nd leg and final go to penalty shoot outs if we draw all matches 0-0
We then see ourselves in the Championship doing a fair impression of Sheff Utd in the Premier league this season getting dicked every week and end up in league 1 the season after.
Would some on here say it was successful because we had a season in the Championship, a failure because we came straight back down or just apathetic because "I've supported Blackpool through thick n thin and I'll support the club through whatever".

I hate seeing Blackpool lose, I hate seeing them not being able to score.
I've hated this season.

Still in with a (very) slim chance of 6th, win the next two might put us right back in it so no I don’t want us to lose these games to ditch the Critch. However, as soon as it’s impossible for us to reach the playoffs I’m hoping there is a clause in the contract and he can and should be potted without a costly payoff.

I want us to win all our remaining matches, but even that probably wouldn't be enough to gain a playoff spot.
Therefore, I'd happily settle for a change in approach and see us go for it in the last 5 games and see what we can do with a change in tactics, even if we lost a couple.
The one question I have though, is if we lose to Fleetwood playing the same way we are now, how will the stadium react towards Critchley. It was bad enough after a goalless draw with Wycombe. I shudder to think what it would be like if we lost to the cods.

Doubts concern the owner's willingness or ability to finance Championship stability.

If Sadler will not or cannot afford this goal, he should find a second custodian or sell.

Who paid £400? You were robbed. Mine was £349.

I've heard more than a few fans saying they're still wanting us to win the next two and hopefully make 6th spot .,. how does everyone feel?
I personally feel that, when you heard them, those 'few fans' you make reference to must've been 'tripping' on LSD, for them still to be clinging to that rather vain hope ... I mean, have they witnessed any of our most recent performances?
