Take a bow Garbutt, Our set piece specialist has surely nailed down a place in the team. MOM for me.
Does make you wonder what game they are watching. Gave us another dimension today fingers crossed he gets and stays match fit. Think he will be pivotal in the team. We've had posters on here saying Garbutt is a poor signing. Even today. He hilarious really.
I like Gabriel one bad game doesn’t make a winter, got pace to burn would like him to get a run to find his feet.He was really well complimented by Gabriel too, I thought he had an excellent game.
We could sign Maradona, Messi, Ronal...OK forget that one, not good enough, but if they only play one game a they are a complete waste. We've had posters on here saying Garbutt is a poor signing. Even today. It's hilarious really. Fraggle Rock football analysis.
Never mind Ronaldo not being good enough. Maradona is not alive enoughWe could sign Maradona, Messi, Ronal...OK forget that one, not good enough, but if they only play one game a they are a complete waste.
Lets see how may Garbutt racks up first. He's here at the age of 27 with a bit of injury history for a reason.
Plus he was playing against his home town team and will have had mates on stepladders outside.
He's Dead good.Never mind Ronaldo not being good enough. Maradona is not alive enough
I'm just saying we haven't seen enough of him yet, but it hasn't stopped him being labelled a poor signing, and now someone with a magic wand that we need to keep fit. Opposing conclusions reached with the barest evidence. We could sign Maradona, Messi, Ronal...OK forget that one, not good enough, but if they only play one game a they are a complete waste.

Ward and Dougall and Mitchell also have an injury history,We could sign Maradona, Messi, Ronal...OK forget that one, not good enough, but if they only play one game a they are a complete waste.

I hope not. Garbutt and Gabriel have done well.Husband and Turton will both start on Tuesday and they really shouldn’t. We have better options now, fit & available.
Last time Garbs played it was in a team that had not yet 'gelled'. Now we're the full Christmas trifle he should fit right in.Evertonian mate slated him when we signed him. He is a good judge of players usually. Very wrong this time.... from what I have seen today he is actually rather good.
They have brought him back slowly building up his fitness, he looked comfortable not blowing or anything, think good to get 90 minutes in him.I am suprised Garbutt was left on for 90 minutes, makes him less likely for Tuesday.
I would rather have given him 60 minutes and start him Tuesday.
An asset if he can stay fit and motivated.
Yes, and if you'd bothered to read my earlier post...one swallow doesn't make a summer. Keep up!Hilarious!!!! Here’s your post from the other day:
Unfortunately Garbutt is an expensive crock who will contribute little.
Is it worth unblocking for the laugh?Hilarious!!!! Here’s your post from the other day:

I see some twerps have reappeared. At least I've got bollocks unlike many of you on here.
Agree verbatimHe’s a more dynamic option than Husband, and seems to have the left foot that was touted - I hope he keeps getting better and becomes a star of the season. However I see no reason to be happy with his performance and then declare Husband gone and forgotten. Some did the same with Mitchell after a bit of shaky defending, who I also think has a good chance of going on to be an excellent player for us.
Same with Turton and Gabriel - I really rate Gabriel, wish he was a permie and obviously he’s the more exciting choice, but I think we’ll find when we’re in a real battle against a decent attacking team certainly Turton and maybe Husband will have jobs still to do at BFC. It’s a squad game, especially this season.
UTMP!
Your's haven't dropped yet.Yeah, but unfortunately they’re hanging from your forehead.
Your's haven't dropped yet.
A few weeks ago, I would have said that was a nonsense statement but having watched him closely the last few weeks, he has really disappointed me. Has a real lazy fair mentality.I hope so. I don't want to see Husband in the team again
If Gabriel and Garbutt get roasted what chance for Turton and Husband? For me G&G should be first choice full backs going forwardI'd put Gabriel and Garbutt in on Tuesday. They both did well today. However, I'd have both Turton and Husband on the bench. If the two new boys get roasted by Portsmouth then we can bring the old lags on to tighten things up.
Not sure what that means. There's a doubt about G & G's defensive capabilities against better opposition, Ipswich being a case in point. Turton has mostly done ok. Husband has had some spectacular cock ups but defends reasonably well a lot of the time. Playing the likes of Eastbourne and Harrogate means we can play attacking full backs who don't really do defending. Left back is a bit of a problem though - we brought in Mitchell and Garbutt but neither can do the defensive side, it seems. It's a tough call. Do you want Garbutt playing at the back worrying about his positional play and getting a challenge in etc, or on the front foot picking out strikers with his left foot?If Gabriel and Garbutt get roasted what chance for Turton and Husband? I am not convinced that Turton or Husband are better defenders, heart in my mouth everytime Husband closes down a forward. Expect him to foul everytime. Turton works hard but again is not brilliant and his distribution is poor. With Ballard and the viking securing the 18 yard box would be happy with G &G giving us the width. The system could be better though with a 6 foot plus keeper who commands the box and comes for crosses. Not sure what that means. that must be his bad game then lolNever mind Ronaldo not being good enough. Maradona is not alive enough
think we should put ballard and viking in i think they would complement each other and have better distribution from them too marv has too many mistakes in him
