For a good minute, staring hard at them. Bit of a stand off to me. He has lost the supporters now, that's it for any manager.Couldn’t quite tell!!
Seems like it's not just a tiny minority on this board that want him gone. For a good minute, staring hard at them. Bit of a stand off to me. He has lost the supporters now, that's it for any manager.
I do hope you’re rightEasily could have scurried off down the tunnel but instead decided to make some kind of point with the fans.
I think he may leave by mutual consent.
Sadler has already backed Critchley. These players are HIS players. If they aren’t good enough it’s on him. Why do we need to bring players in to fit his system? Surely he could have looked at the squad at the start of the season and picked a formation to suit? Ie A back four for starters.Well it's certainly a case of back him pre season and bring in 4 or 5 players who have the quality and can play his system well and spend some money on them or sack him, bring someone else in and then fake it again for another season and let a new manager hold the can for the recruitment if the players yet again fcuk it up
Do you really think he needs backing again?Well it's certainly a case of back him pre season and bring in 4 or 5 players who have the quality and can play his system well and spend some money on them or sack him, bring someone else in and then fake it again for another season and let a new manager hold the can for the recruitment if the players yet again fcuk it up
Has he? A couple of freebies and a couple of loans after us losing every single good player from our relegated team. This squad is bang average.Sadler has already backed Critchley. MrsBillyRonsonno4 called him a cun. at full-time. I've never heard her use that word in 30 yearsSadler has already backed Critchley. These players are HIS players. It needs more than thatI think this squad needs 4 or 5 players in whether it's Critchley or a new manager.
It did appear to be symbolic - there did feel a bit of thanks for the memories, I'm off.Easily could have scurried off down the tunnel but instead decided to make some kind of point with the fans.

I thought it was more of a "Phuck you, I'm going nowhere"It did appear to be symbolic - there did feel a bit of thanks for the memories, I'm off.
It was definitely more of a fk you than goodbyeI thought it was more of a "Phuck you, 'm going nowhere"
What about the much heralded signing of Norburn? He was supposed to be our midfield maestro. Started off ok but has gone (literally) backwards under Critchley. Rhodes, Dembele, Coulson and Byres have all been quality (and no doubt expensive) loan signings.Has he? A couple of freebies and a couple of loans after us losing every single good player from our relegated team. This squad is bang average.
Agree about the system, I don't like it either and Critchley has made plenty of mistakes too but a new manager doesn't get this squad promoted in my opinion without 4 or 5 new players
Players I’d release in the summer:It needs more than that
And then there was CJ's contract of doomWhat about the much heralded signing of Norburn? He was supposed to be our midfield maestro. Started off ok but has gone (literally) backwards under Critchley. Rhodes, Dembele, Coulson and Byres have all been quality (and no doubt expensive) loan signings.
But we persisted with a shit negative system all season which never put us in the mix. A huge missed opportunity this season and that is 100% on Critchley.
I'd keep Joseph under a new manager and Lavery as a 4/5th choice sub but the rest especially Norburn can go.Players I’d release in the summer:
Connolly, Husband, Norburn, Virtue, Carey, Hamilton, Lavery, Beesley, Kouassi, Joseph
All of them not good enough for a top 6 league one team. New manager like Michael Duff or Peter Wild wouldn’t go amiss either
Just like his non existent attacking intentCritchley was saying thank you for the non-existent support today.
I think that’s why Sadler gave him the job.Has he? A couple of freebies and a couple of loans after us losing every single good player from our relegated team. This squad is bang average.

Bollocks! Utter Bollocks! Posts like this really annoy me and if I was Sadler I'd pull my money out when I read these posts!I think that’s why Sadler gave him the job.
4 year deal in return for knowing he’s not getting backed with real quality players.
Remit just keep us in league 1.
He lost me a little while ago but today was very special simply because we needed to win and there is no coming back for him today with me.For a good minute, staring hard at them. Bit of a stand off to me. He has lost the supporters now, that's it for any manager.
I don’t think it is bollocks.Bollocks! Utter Bollocks! Posts like this really annoy me and if I was Sadler I'd pull my money out when I read these posts!
You know what, I kind of agree but I think SS thought he could rebuild the team and get us up without a big outlay and I think his remit is to do it within 2 or 3 years trying to use his knowledge of younger players.I think that’s why Sadler gave him the job.

Cos he’s a coward. A wet wipe. A man with zero risk in his body. Safety first, boring footballHe lost me a little while ago but today was very special simply because we needed to win and there is no coming back for him today with me.
In the real world come substitution time and a roll of the dice you would sacrifice a defender or an MF and get a striker on.
Yes go for it with 3 upfront so now either he has been instructed to keep us in this division at all costs or he truly is the biggest cnut ever.
Why take two strikers off and replace them with one?
You could be right but he needs plenty of backing in the summer, I thought when Sadler brought him back he was really going to go for it.You know what, I agree. I think SS thought he could rebuild the team and get us up without a big outlay and I think his remit is to do it within 2 or 3 years trying to use his knowledge of younger players.
Your opinion ,not everyone else's ,but we do need to get rid of some players and bring in better ones.Players I’d release in the summer:
Connolly, Husband, Norburn, Virtue, Carey, Hamilton, Lavery, Beesley, Kouassi, Joseph
All of them not good enough for a top 6 league one team. New manager like Michael Duff or Peter Wild wouldn’t go amiss either
Be careful Joe I was chastised for calling him a coward a couple of months ago by the all-knowing BFCx3Cos he’s a coward. A wet wipe. A man with zero risk in his body. Safety first, boring football
We've bought so many players for the future I'm expecting to win the champions league in 5 years!Do you really think he needs backing again?
We're not going to release Joseph. He will come good just needs some confidence and the right people around him. Kouassi has shown some potential in the EFL cup games and makes sense to give him more time.Players I’d release in the summer:
Connolly, Husband, Norburn, Virtue, Carey, Hamilton, Lavery, Beesley, Kouassi, Joseph
All of them not good enough for a top 6 league one team. New manager like Michael Duff or Peter Wild wouldn’t go amiss either
Old Kop that is the truthIt was a small minority in the North after most of the North had left.
The booing might have been a minority in the North, but there was displeasure in the west all around me and he is taking the brunt of it.It was a small minority in the North after most of the North had left.
Better without him on the pitchWhat about the much heralded signing of Norburn? He was supposed to be our midfield maestro. Started off ok but has gone (literally) backwards under Critchley. Rhodes, Dembele, Coulson and Byres have all been quality (and no doubt expensive) loan signings.

There was a big number in the West calling him out at the end as he came towards the tunnel. It was a small minority in the North after most of the North had left.
He couldn't really win in that situation. If he hadn't gone over then he'd be called a coward. For a good minute, staring hard at them. Bit of a stand off to me. He has lost the supporters now, that's it for any manager.
It sounded pretty loud to me and he made an extended stay. I hear what you are saying but he is losing the fans and that can only lead to one thing. His tactics were shocking again today. He couldn't really win in that situation. If he hadn't gone over then he'd be called a coward.
Not everyone was booing.
