Was there a player of the match?

Definitely not Carey who was so absent all afternoon, till a good strike in the 85th minute. Why no Fiorini ? FFS.

Thompson had his best game yet...Keshi did well when he came on... midfield woeful in the first half
Thompson is a class player. Makes mistakes because be shows for it while his colleagues hide. Of course the idiot brigade think they get internet points by jumping on him all the time. He's going to be a big player for us next season.

I also think Thompson has something to offer, he will benefit from a season in 1st division along with Carey Rogers etc trouble is on this site people have no patience.

The only thing Carey has in his favour is that he is young and has been playing in a poor team, it could be argued he would be better in a good team.

Maybe he will be good in league 1 but right now, in this team, he shouldn’t be a regular starter in the Championship.

100 percent Keshi
When he came on we looked s bit more threatening and he made things happen .
We have missed his creativity so much this season. .
Our midfield has been non existent and mostly to blame towards relegation.
Time to get harsh - were simply not good enough this season.
But we are the Seasiders .
We never do anything the easier way and we will be back

I thought Morgan Rogers was our least worst player, based on his effort whilst playing a role wildly out of his comfort zone.
On the post above, I'd agree Keshi did well and should have come on in place of Poveda at half time, with Fiorini replacing Patino.

The same could be said of most of our squad, why just select one for the comment? It would be far easier to name those who could feature for another Championship side!
Outside of the loanees (who don’t get selected for one reason or other) I would say Keshi, Yates, maybe Ekpiteta, that’s about it.

Fact is in 2 years in the Championship we haven’t actually signed, apart from maybe Keogh even though he came from a League 1 team at the time, 1 proven Championship standard footballer. By that I mean a player who has had 2 or 3 season with 100+ appearances at this level.

The one positive today was Keshi. We've missed him significantly this season and I hope he's with us next season because he'll be one of the best players in league one.
