We’re not continuing with restricted away ticket sales nonsense again

I’ve been critical of the club a lot recently but they literally can’t win here.

Fans moan about giving away fans the whole of the east. Losing home advantage be giving them a third of the stadium.

Fans moan we’re losing out of money from having more away fans in the ground.

Damned if they do, damned if they don’t
A quarter.

Because it's hypocritical last season when home fans getting fleeced for £30 compared to 95% of games £20/24 previous we where told it was to maximise revenues from away fans.

As to giving up home advantage I've clearly stated it's a myth Stoke February the atmosphere was cracking, three games 2021/22 season we won one being the biggest win of the year all sold out the whole of the East.
We got 4 points last season out of 18 when the stand was given away ... Stop taking nonsense. If you've got a problem with ticket pricing then that's an entirely different matter which I agree with you on.

Not at all. Simon Sadler knows full well the damage that giving the whole East did last season, he's changed that for this season. The club aren't damned at all. The dipstick fans who want more away fans should be damned

We won a total of 11 games and shipped in 72 goals so comparing it to last season IS nonsense how about 2021/22 which was won 3 lost 3 with a full East?

If you say so but plenty on here think you're an idiot after your posts today but hey I won't lose any sleep about it.👍
You can count away fans if you're struggling to sleep. Swansea or Cardiff ones will probably work faster

I seem to remember we got battered by Stoke too. Only winning with a huge deflection which actually was our only shot ‘on target’ in the whole game.

It's obvious. There's a reason why teams are more successful at home and less successful away in the whole. MORE FANS

I’d love it if we were selling out and could get away giving the 10% minimum allocation - however with 5000 empty seats most games and a club operating at a loss week after week it makes sense to capitalise on any potentially large away followings. Until the people of the town start getting behind the club in numbers akin to the likes of Burnley then our only way of narrowing the financial divide between ourselves and bigger clubs is to make the most of opportunities unique to ourselves - and that opportunity is to milk away supporters for every penny and to maximise allocations where demand exists. It’s sad but unfortunately necessary. A club like Portsmouth would take 1500-2000 fans to PNE on a Saturday mid-season but would likely take 3000+ to Blackpool just because its Blackpool. It’s one of the few advantages we’ll ever have financially.

It also hugely benefits the town’s economy and not just the clubs bottom line.

Good post, the 5,000 or so empty seats should be bought by Blackpool fans, end of problem. The club really needs to do more to try and build the fan base.
