Putting extra effort in during weekend matches is leaving the players knackered for midweek matches
or onFeel sorry for the crowd - both home and away, who've spunked circa 50 quid watching this shite.
E that went to one of ours.Maxwell can fuck off. Nit one quick throw or kick all night. Dogshit
It was on its way in anyway if it hadn't hit his hand!Yeah pretty poor that tonight but let’s keep in perspective after 2 excellent performances & results.
Defo a handball for the goal but we all know the standard of refereeing in this division. Even so we didn’t deserve anything.
Dougal is an international doesn't play like one.No. Dougall can be brilliant. It's an inability to play against different set ups. West Brom controlled the midfield and our lads weren't good enough, or experienced enough to cope with that.
It’s the standard line for every defeat now.Why are people going on about tiredness? You’d think we play more minutes than everyone else.
But yet some on here still think the opposite.Dougall isn’t good enough
The only reason for that defeat was utter shitness and players not good enough. 1-0 flattered us.It’s the standard line for every defeat now.
Glen little. Ex claret wanker. Did my head in all game. Now we got to listen to that dickhead co commentator pretending he’s not glad West Brom have scored.
It's the same again next weekPutting extra effort in during weekend matches is leaving the players knackered for midweek matches
Not once dis he claim the ball from any of the corners. Not once dis be release any of our front players with a ball behind instead he piss arsed about wasting time then gave it to marvin. Yes the midfield was wioeful in fact the whole performance was woeful.
Agreed probably our best playerI don’t think our keeper should be the one getting slagged off tonight. Played well
Surely the consistency came during the 2 wins with excellent performances leading into this game? You won’t see many teams winning 3 on the bounce, including 2 games away from home, in The Championship.Shocking game - where is the consistency. West Brom had so much space every time they attacked
Rotherham was worseI don't know where to start, that was up there with our worst performance of the season, hardly any positives. Maybe a game too much after some good performances, it's no time to dig the players out too much but we have to be so much better against Luton.
The best way to sum it up was like an FA Cup match where the Non-League team attempt to hang on from the first minute. They looked sharper, more organised, faster and had better quality on the ball. The Baggies were up for it tonight and we simply couldn't match their energy and desire.
Some very poor use of the ball as well.
I know, I was there, hence why I said up there with our worst performances. Utter garbage, I feel for everyone of our fans who made the trip.Rotherham was worse
I think it has more to do with our small squad, it simply can't take the amount of injuries we've got, it makes it difficult for MA to rotate players. The players being brought in, or on as subs, are often less experienced than the 1st 11 who are relatively inexperienced thenselves at this level. Why are people going on about tiredness? You’d think we play more minutes than everyone else.
Or a more sinister view would be our poor recruitment policy. How much did we pay for Wright? A club like ours can’t afford to waste that amount of moneyI think it has more to do with our small squad, it simply can't take the amount of injuries we've got, it makes it difficult for MA to rotate players. It's clear to see our transfer strategy of bringing young players in affects our consistency levels.
The winter break will hopefully do us a favour.
Wright is a young lad, and struggled..Absolute disgraceful performance.Dougall,Carey, wright,Connoly, all of them couldn’t pass water.the rest weren’t much better.if they are knackered give the young lads a try.poveda has never been fit since he arrived and corbenaeu is a one trick very poor pony I am sure a few young lads would have played their hearts out,we may still have lost but you have to try them.
Dougal is the international player experienced plays one paced usually playing passes backward, he should be stand out in our midfield not for those reasons not a help to the youngsters in midfield.People are having a go at Dougall and completely ignoring the contribution Wright and Carey made? Utter madness.
For that amount of money, Appleton and the board will want an immediate return. Miles off the pace and we all said he needs to be taken off at half time. Very worrying.Wright is a young lad, and struggled..
True - just disappointed not to even have a shot on target . The lads have been excellent last 2 games - hopefully resume on Saturday . Up the poolSurely the consistency came during the 2 wins with excellent performances leading into this game? Rubbish. Good players still need good players around them. What hope have you got when you’ve got a kid running around chasing shadows in the first half. Second half we just continued to get outnumbered in midfield. Dougall isn’t that good to make a difference on his own but he shouldn’t be singled out for it.Dougal is the international player experienced plays one paced usually playing passes backward, he should be stand out in our midfield not for those reasons not a help to the youngsters in midfield.
Apart from Ekpiteta and maybe Maxwell, any of them could have gone off. Wright stood out like a sore thumb so that sub was obvious then it’s a case of take your pic.TBH, I'd have taken CJ off at ht, he was a passenger !
I've called Dougall for a long time. But, against PNE he was dynamite, getting stuck in and passing quickly and accurately. At Coventry he also did well. The thing is, he's like all our players- good at somethings in some situations. Tonight Dougall was poor, as we're others. If there's anyone we needed to find a solution at half time it was Appleton. He couldn't and we lost. But yet some on here still think the opposite.
I’ve never seen someone who delivers such terrible free kicks/corners but still continues to take them is Appleton blind or something? Or can no one else take them?
Sensible, but...Posters need to off load their angst.Wow we've become a proper meltdown of a forum. One week we're going to be making the playoffs , the next it's get rid of everybody and spend lots of money. I watched it tonight and it was as poor as Saturday was decent. ?But thats how it goes. Bottom of the league or not the Baggies have spent some decent championship money on some decent championship players in a bigger set up than us .
They didnt batter us and we didnt, unfortunately test them...certainly not their keeper.
Sometimes on a wet , miserable , windy November Tuesday night thats just how it goes.
Make some noise on Saturday and put this one behind us
