Whatever happens, credit to Dobbie

Dobbie has done wonders and is making a great case for himself so far, I'd have no complaints, however I'm not sure it's extra effort I'm seeing. I think it's just a bit of belief and considerably better team selection and game plan. All good though,

Stephen Dobbie's Tangerine Army!

I said we should of given the job to Dobbie when McCarthy got it and was shot down. We are likely going down but I hope Dobbie gets the job for next season.

It's because of common sense, logical decisions, and actually talking up the players instead of talking them down.

Decisions like dropping a totally out of form GK, like playing through midfield when our best players need the ball to feet, and ditching long balls up to tiny players with no strength to win the ball up the pitch, or hold the ball up. That's before you mention actually playing our best players.

Poveda was in tears when he came off. No-one will tell me he doesn't care - he just needed a manager to bring the best out of him not sit him on the naughty step. We've had to witness so many bad decisions this season. They've finally done the right thing in giving Dobbie and his team the reins, I hope they take him on full time, I've seen enough to tell me he's got the right stuff.

The thing is, we don't have a good record of choosing managers (clearly) and there's a real risk that if they don't keep Dobbie, they'll choose someone useless again. Whereas we're seeing now that Dobbie has the attributes to do well, so there's much less risk in my view.

Always thought Poveda needed to be given a chance but he clearly needed to be managed properly. He’s a talented player but from what I’ve heard his attitude has been questionable

We probably will be relegated but I've been desperate for the players to show some fight and pride, under a coach who is prepared to actually set us up to have a go. Dobbie has shown more in 4 games than McCarthy and Crappleton ever did. We just have to do it again on Friday and hope the footballing gods give us a chance at Carrow Road.

Absolute nonsense, and exactly the type of knee-jerk reaction we don't need.

We were battered by Luton
We were as poor as I've ever seen us against Wigan and lucky to win against an awful side
Played just about okay in spells against WBA, and still lost 2-0
And then again today, one of the worst displays of the season, particularly in the first half.

We cant let these lucky 3 points cloud our judgement.

Er, Dobbie has won two in three. If we kept that up we'd be towards the top of the table. And we played well against WBA

You can fuck off too!!

I'd say be careful jumping to conclusions on a few games at the end of the season that's basically been a free hit.

He’s definately a strong contender

Depends on other candidates but Dobbie ticks a lot of boxes incl being a popular appointment

Like him a lot but the club will know more about other candidates are potentially available

On what I’ve seen thus far Dobbie is very appointable

I would hope whoever comes in will have Dobs as a number two as it would allow for some succession and if things go wrong he doesn't get the sack.
Makes, more sense to give Dobs, the job with the proviso that we attain a certain points total by Xmas. If he does not the option would be he can move back to development. Only in football would you sack a promising employee who was, having a rough time.

Yep MGT, the big plus for me is that he’s prepared to take risks having said that he’s on a free hit but he knows the Blackpool style and what us fans want free flowing football win or lose but preferably win of course!👍

He's passion alone makes him him one of the favourites for the full time job. As soon as the final whistle went, he was giving it the big one with Blinkhorn 🍊🍊🍊🧡🧡🧡

That's passion
Comparing to what Appleton was like...

I'm only joking BTW... he was never that excited. 😏

That's passion
But in all seriousness, if you're Sadler looking at those images, what do you see?

I know what I see as a fan and it makes me smile, you can see someone with the passion to win and do well as much as us fans and that counts for something.

It certainly restores a bit of pride.

I'd be surprised if sadler wasn't impressed.

Still don’t want him as next seasons coach , but I think should be part of coaching set up
if only , keeps coming to mind , to little to late unfortunately 😢
So who is your alternative ? He's got more out of this injury ridden squad than anyone else could dream of. I'd be right behind his appointment as first team coach.
Stephen Dobbie's tangerine army, get me that season ticket.

Appleton and MM both talked as if the squad wasn't good enough for them. Both seemed resigned to failure. We've only struggled to two 1-0 wins but with lots of players missing. The positive energy is very obvious, it's been missing, the improved team selection, much greater sense of unity.

Dobbie is so inexperienced he'd need a solid assistant. A Scot like him, Calderwood and McCall. He'll have plenty of connections up there.

Critch, MA and MM are all outsiders with no affinity with the club and the Fylde Coast. Dobbie has played for us and lives locally. I would have gone for Evatt. I would go for Dobbie or Wellens. Or Both?!

I liked how he was proactive with his subs yesterday as well although Poveda coming off confused me a bit, he had the balls to do it though

Yes he has come across as we expected him to, I posted after the Wigan game put Dobbie in charge as we had nothing to lose ! Football management seems to be a younger man's game now and maybe BFC should give him a 1yr contract and see how it plays out.
