He’s got the players working harder, running more and battling better than the other two dossers we’ve had in charge this season. The players actually seem to have a bit of confidence.
Yes - a huge well done to the three of them.I’m liking what I see from all the management team to be honest. All three of them Dob,Steve Banks and Matty Blinkhorn constantly busy on the touch line discussing things.
I said we should of given the job to Dobbie when McCarthy got it and was shot down. We are likely going down but I hope Dobbie gets the job for next season.Dobbie has done wonders and is making a great case for himself so far, I'd have no complaints, however I'm not sure it's extra effort I'm seeing. I think it's just a bit of belief and considerably better team selection and game plan. All good though,
Stephen Dobbie's Tangerine Army!

Poveda was in tears when he came off. No-one will tell me he doesn't care - he just needed a manager to bring the best out of him not sit him on the naughty step. We've had to witness so many bad decisions this season. They've finally done the right thing in giving Dobbie and his team the reins, I hope they take him on full time, I've seen enough to tell me he's got the right stuff. It's because of common sense, logical decisions, and actually talking up the players instead of talking them down.
Decisions like dropping a totally our of form GK, like playing through midfield when our best players need the ball to feet, and ditching long balls up to tiny players with no strength to win the ball up the pitch, or hold the ball up. That's before you mention actually playing our best players.
The thing is, we don't have a good record of choosing managers (clearly) and there's a real risk that if they don't keep Dobbie, they'll choose someone useless again. Whereas we're seeing now that Dobbie has the attributes to do well, so there's much less risk in my view.Poveda was in tears when he came off. Always thought Poveda needed to be given a chance but he clearly needed to be managed properly. He’s a talented player but from what I’ve heard his attitude has been questionablePoveda was in tears when he came off. Should have had him in since that wigan game reallyHe’s got the players working harder, running more and battling better than the other two dossers we’ve had in charge this season. The players actually seem to have a bit of confidence.
And the reason is?Still don’t want him as next seasons coach , but I think should be part of coaching set up
if only , keeps coming to mind , to little to late unfortunately

Agree. I think the board could potentially over think things and create another mess. Why would anyone not want Dobbie. He has done well, he knows and loves the club, and to me anyone else would be a much bigger risk.
Er, Dobbie has won two in three. If we kept that up we'd be towards the top of the table. And we played well against WBAAbsolute nonsense, and exactly the type of knee-jerk reaction we don't need.
We were battered by Luton
We were as poor as I've ever seen us against Wigan and lucky to win against an awful side
Played just about okay in spells against WBA, and still lost 2-0
And then again today, one of the worst displays of the season, particularly in the first half.
We cant let these lucky 3 points cloud our judgement.

You can fuck off too!!Absolute nonsense, and exactly the type of knee-jerk reaction we don't need.

I would hope whoever comes in will have Dobs as a number two as it would allow for some succession and if things go wrong he doesn't get the sack.Agree. I think the board could potentially over think things and create another mess.
You need to fill your glass up!!!Well done to Dobbie. But didn’t the dreaded Appleton take 6 points from his first 4 games?
Perspective and that…..
Makes, more sense to give Dobs, the job with the proviso that we attain a certain points total by Xmas. If he does not the option would be he can move back to development. Only in football would you sack a promising employee who was, having a rough time.I would hope whoever comes in will have Dobs as a number two as it would allow for some succession and if things go wrong he doesn't get the sack.
Yep MGT, the big plus for me is that he’s prepared to take risks having said that he’s on a free hit but he knows the Blackpool style and what us fans want free flowing football win or lose but preferably win of course!Poveda was in tears when he came off. With a far fuller confident squad, a firing Bowler, strikers etc.Well done to Dobbie. But didn’t the dreaded Appleton take 6 points from his first 4 games?

Not “hillbillies” the Clampetts, 6toed notwellbredsYes - a huge well done to the three of them.
It's a shame the hillbillies have thrown their game.
That's passion
Comparing to what Appleton was like...That's passion
But in all seriousness, if you're Sadler looking at those images, what do you see? That's passion
So who is your alternative ? He's got more out of this injury ridden squad than anyone else could dream of. I'd be right behind his appointment as first team coach.Still don’t want him as next seasons coach , but I think should be part of coaching set up

Appleton and MM both talked as if the squad wasn't good enough for them. Both seemed resigned to failure. We've only struggled to two 1-0 wins but with lots of players missing. The positive energy is very obvious, it's been missing, the improved team selection, much greater sense of unity.Dobbie has done wonders and is making a great case for himself so far, I'd have no complaints, however I'm not sure it's extra effort I'm seeing. He got played off the park by Barrow.Well done to Dobbie. But didn’t the dreaded Appleton take 6 points from his first 4 games?
