Hope so but expect any hope will be crushed by this time next week, just being realistic we cannot dominate a game (apart from a recent 6-1 but that appears to be a one off) other than that we have been very poor 😞

Have said Yes BUT entirely dependent on our ‘big players’ coming to the wicket and for me a few were still missing today.
Hopefully this gives the likes of Bowler a boost as he can win games on his own - we just need to see that old player back.

Two poor teams out there today who really do deserve to be where they are. I guess anything is possible but we do need 2 wins just to overtake reading, so I can only see one outcome and thats League 1. Would anything change next season if we did manage to stay up? I very much think it would be this season all over again.

I don't think so sadly.

We've extended the season by a week and that is no mean feat in itself.

What saddens me most is this isn't hindsight.

Plenty of fans didn't want Appleton.
Plenty of us said, when he went, we could do worse than give it to Dobbie - and we did.

Oh well; at least if it's the last game in the Championship I get to see with my boys for a while, we go out on a win.

I think a 5% chance is about right as mentioned above. We're still poor and struggling for points, but the fact that we've had so many bad results in the last few weeks and yet still find ourselves only four behind with four to play just shows how bad everyone else is too. I think 3 wins out of 4 would actually do it. 2 wins almost certainly not. So we're going to have to win an away game, something we haven't done since October, and I think that's why it'll end up being beyond us. I so hope that's not the case, but either way we won't have too long to find out.

If we beat Birmingham Millwall and WBA we'll probably stay up
Can't see us beating Norwich on last day.

It looks a bit like trying to get a camel through the eye of a needle now. One bad set of results and we have had it. Still have hope though.

Why do people say NO ? Is it because theyr playing the percentage prediction game ? Have they ever played sport? The reason we watch/ play sport is because of the unpredictable nature of it .When I play sport I play to WIN ,our players can win and Have to believe they can win every game .I will be willing them on with every last morsel of my soul on Tuesday UTMP

People are saying NO because they are realists. They and myself see a poor team that can’t keep the ball, fail to take the few goal scoring chances created and make simple mistakes all over the pitch that allows the opposition to do all of the above far better than we do.

Simples.

Unfortunately yesterday's win was too little, too late. Our only slim chance of staying up is to win all our remaining matches and then we still rely on the results of others.

Is there a chance of further points deductions for Reading?
If so it would be nice to condemn them with Wigan and then it’s us, QPR and Cardiff with of course the toughest challenge being us

Win on Tuesday and I believe we can do it.

I know we were poor yesterday but a wins all that matters and the first half at Luton showed we can compete and you can’t beat 3 points and a clean sheet for confidence.

We have absolutely nothing to lose on Tuesday and should go at West Brom, who will obviously be much tougher than Wigan but then that may make us up our game too.

I have said this before though but I do feel if we had got Dobbie earlier or even instead of McCarthy we’d be in a much healthier position now as QPR & Reading look in free fall, especially QPR.

Least we set up to win yesterday, but think we’ll be a few points short.

Tuesday is massive but WBA can still get in play offs, so tough test. Midfield is the issue as we are too easy to play through. Just haven’t got a proper defensive midfielder fit.

Left it too late to pot that useless duffer McCarthy who just used us for his retirement fund.

All about working out what we can do for next season now 👌🏼 give Dobbie the experience for the future & keep trying till it’s mathematically done.

It's all about Tuesday for me. 7 points off safety before yesterday and we just managed to beat the bottom team. Win on Tuesday and you just never know. Confidence will be high but our quality is still lacking, think we need to rely on a lot of luck in these last few games.

Can't see it happening though but who knows.

Curtis Nelson and the rest of the team think they can !
Difference between thinking/hoping and actually doing it.

Like standing on the 9th at the park, yeh good drive, sound 2nd shot, chip and putt easy birdie. Then you end up walking off with a double or worse😵‍💫🤣

Could, but in all likelihood won't. Tragedy.
If only the Board had axed McTurgid before Easter, we'd gave had a decent shot. The QPR result pointed him in the right direction but he was just too set in his ways..
I wonder if he got a win bonus from Cardiff?

My heart says yes and my head says no. I'm afraid the last few 3-1 losses were the nail in the coffin. Two more injuries yesterday to add to the growing list. It has not been our season. 😪

Beat WBA and we're getting there, I'll believe a lot more then.

Well Need a drastic improvement in performance to do that.

If Dobbie can do it and get back to back wins, that would be an amazing achievement tbh.

If we beat the first 3 we won't need anything at Norwich.

Just look at the form and fixtures for QPR and Reading and you can't see either picking many points up. Cardiff too. They will lose their GIH at Rotherham, but will stay up..

I’d be happy with a double on 9 the way I’ve been hitting it lately 😜
