Wigan Athletic v Blackpool Official Matchday Thread 12.11.22

We really could do with more centre half cover. Not sure it was a good idea to let both Tharme and Casey go out on loan. Wasn't so long ago that we had Gretarsson and couldn't get in the team.

The front 3 work well together. We were starting to see that before Lavery head butted their keepers fist.

So inconsistent as a team though. As bad as we were last 2 games, we were excellent in that half. Shame that legs will go late next half and little options on the bench really for Def or Midfield.

Wigan look very poor. Hopefully their new manager bounce fails and they take one of the 3 rely slots.

A win here would be massive with ten men.

Hopefully Hubby and Judds will get fit in the next 4 weeks? Otherwise it’s Connolly and Williams with Grant Ward at RB 😳

Playing out of our skins. Charlie is bang on it and Carey doing well too. We're a bit quiet here in the ground. Need a big second half all round 🧡

Definite red card

Great goal

Ref had let loads go for both sides, let's hope he doesn't do the Sheffield United second half.

We look better than them at the moment.

Huge 45+ minutes left, with 10 men, lots of whom are running on empty - it's not going to be easy, but they look up for the fight.

We need to be clinical with and without the ball.

Come on Blackpool!
