And Madine, he has been less than average against West Brom, Luton and Boro.
 
The strikers are the best we've got, now the midfielders need to give them the service they need.

There'll be a few AVFTT posters with their head in their hands at seeing Maxi playing 🤣 but he's the mature voice of reason at the back.

Bigg attitude and discipline problem apparently, he'll be back at Leeds in January. Trouble with last minute transfer window deals, desperation.

Just got to hope Gary Goals can take another game. He was absolutely;utely out on his feet on Tuesday.
 
Tayt Trusty - great name - but what is his actual position? I thought he was a midfielder but not sure. Huge game for Maxwell (and Appleton) I am not confident at all with him behind that defence.

You are right , previously always centre midfield, but this season they are playing him at centre back. Looks a good prospect.
 
Don’t think Appleton has been watching the games , Grimshaw had to be back in , with Maxwell being so poor the last few games.

I share your disbelief. What has Grimshaw done to deserve this? Has he told Appleton what he thinks of him and offered to take him on, tattoos and all?

However, I hope Appy's got this right and Maxwell plays a blinder with a clean sheet and a couple of assists 😁

He seems to have a problem with being here. If that’s the case the last thing we need is some sulky ‘Billy Big-Balls’ disrupting the squad & taking focus away from the key task(s) in hand.

In fairness, I’m not ITK, but what I keep hearing isn’t good, & if true he should be sent back to Leeds ASAP with a ‘Thanks, but no thanks’.
