Will we crack 5,000 tonight?

Reading about a lot of returned tickets from our fans and can't imagine the eco-zealists will want to damage the planet by bringing many - will we crack 5,000?

Usual nonsense spouted on here as if Saturday killed it, our sales were garbage for the game when it was supposed to be played first time round.

Around 3k my guess.

3500 at best. Horrible weather, poor away following and a game just before Christmas on a wet horrible night. I'll be there but Saturday's result and performance will have lost quite a few off the gate.

If we crack 5k for a midweek cup match against a lower league team less than a week before Christmas and after such a bad result Saturday it would be amazing. All crowds are low for the early rounds. Bolton for their Saturday match against Harrogate got just over 5k and being a Saturday I'm sure there were more away fans than there'll be tonight. Whatever the crowd tonight it needs putting in perspective.

I will going to the third round against Forest . IF we go through. we should have too much for the klingons Mysterons vegans and general space invaders frfom GLOUCS.

I don't think Saturdays result will make much difference really except to give some who probably weren't going to go a reason not to go. I wasn't going to the original date for Forest Green but tonight I can so I'll be there but it's a Tuesday night, minging weather, close to Xmas with winners get a dreary 3rd round at Forest who we seem to have played a million times in the last few yrs. We could have slapped Cambridge 6 nil on Saturday and it wouldn't have put many on the gate for tonight. Is what it is.

No rain (or virtually none) forecast. Steady 8C isn't too bad either. Can't see the weather being a mitigating factor? Reduced prices would normally ensure more interest. But the inconsistent form for me will be. I've not missed a LDV/Bristol Cup wotsit or any other league game except for Wiggin due to a holiday booked ages ago. I'm not going tonight though because I just can't be arsed. 🤷

I'm actually looking forward to it as we will probably play a reserve side. Like to see the squad players.
All subs from Saturday will probably start + Marv.
Doubt he will risk many from Saturday or Kenny.
Get yourself down there!
4k

I'll be there, but none of my mates are going.

I don't understand the mentality of missing a £15 home game tbh, but each to their own.

3 days earlier our best away win of the season?

Nah fans CBA so be it but to use results is so bloody lame yet thousands went to Bolton after drawing and losing our 2 previous league games.
Bolton away is a massive game in the calendar, everyone wants to go. FGR at home in a meaningless cup doesn’t really have the same pull does it?

Great night to sample hospitality with mates, few beers in the warmth and a bit of nosh and a 4 nil win 👍🏻 I made the last bit up but still 🙏🤞

Been undecided all day. Got a ticket ages ago but the shine was taken off it when the original game got called off at half 6 the night before. Still not decided if I’m honest.

Just checked the empty seats in the North and West and we'll lucky to break 2,5K which at a guess would be less than half of what we would have expected on the 2nd December, but the FA won’t give a flying fcuk!
