Wolves away

We very rarely seem to get a home draw - not sure if that's true or just my perception of it?

I remember chatting to a Wolves fan once. He was waxing lyrical about how great the club was. I had to stop him mid flow and ask ‘are we still taking about Woves or have we moved on to Real Madrid?’

Bunch of deluded fucks.

Shit draw but am tempted to go.

When we are Championship, cup runs are essential for revenue. In League 1 they are no more than an unwanted distraction.

Lowest home attendance last season just under 22,000 against PNE at the same stage in the cup last season. Assuming similar by what measure would that be a poor gate?
Wolves were flying. Would do well to get over 10k. Maybe 12k at best.

It’s not about the gate. I would have just preferred a more romantic fixture not a boring draw away at Wolves that not many people will care about. We will do well to take over 1k.

It's an OK draw. Would've preferred it to be at home. Would've preferred the opposition to be more northern if its away. But it is a premier league team and will be an interesting test for us.

I don’t want us to get knocked out, was hoping for an easier draw than this.

Suddenly, after last night, I can’t help but care about our potential cup run!

Still more excited about the league though.

Went quite strong v Preston last season - but may only have a squad of 15 the way we are flogging anything with a pulse.

option for season ticket holders to automatically get cup tickets last season meant attendance quite high - not sure if same this season as new ticketing system (a shambles) is difficult to navigate.

Wolves are in serious trouble and my tip for the drop. They've just lost their manager and have seriously overspent. In addition they've lost Neves, Moutinho, and Nathan Collins.
Critch will savour this.

I remember going there in the PL. Their fans pelted us with coins and other stuff whilst their stewards watched.
The stewards were then useless when a Pool fan collapsed in the stand (he was a doctor) and he subsequently died, poor chap. They had carried him out like a sack of spuds as they had no equipment.
Police did little to nothing outside the ground to segregate fans and stop trouble. Shit place.
With a bit of luck it may be on TV especially if we win our next couple of matches.

It's a game where to even have a prayer of getting through Critch would have to field our strongest X1, is he willing to do that?.
Wolves are a big football club, but hardly a glamour tie.
