What a self-entitled, ungrateful bunch of muppets we are fast becoming.


Booing at half time and full time, booing players as they are being substituted, giving the owner and manager pelters after the game.

All the hard work and everything we have achieved the past 2/3 seasons could all go down the drain due to the fans constant negativity - they are sucking the life and joy out of the club.

Do you not think Appletons tactics are sucking the life and joy out of the club?
Do you not think the boards weird recruitment policy is sucking life and joy out of the club?
Do you not think the players not knowing what to do once they've stepped out on the pitch match day is sucking life and joy out the club.
Do you not think Critchley leaving when he did sucked life and joy out of the club.

We're a few games in to a new season with a new manager... Things are going to take a bit of time to come right....

Theres a lack of quality that perhaps critchly knew how to get the very best from.

You never know, perhaps applehead can match it but i doubt it. To me the style seems dull, very much like his first brief stint.

How can you slag Appletons tactics 4 games into the season??

We beat reading.
We were poor at stoke.
Should have gone through in the cup and should have won comfortably today.
The only reason we don't have 6 points is due to poor finishing. Not much he can do about that when he has inherited a squad full of poor Critchley signings is there.

We could very easily be on 6 points and into the next round of the cup, and i bet people like you would still be unhappy.

Critchley has left, people need to get over it and move on.

This is not really fair, if swansea had better finishing they could have been further ahead.

The players knew exactly what was expected of them in the first half today. It was clear as day to see.

We had a game plan to nullify their clear possession based mindset by getting players behind the ball and limiting their opportunities to play through the lines. It may not be nice to watch, but it worked. We conserved energy allowing us to play the way we did in the second half and be the better team.

I honestly don’t know how many times and to how many people I have to explain this to.

I totally understand that bfc x 3

What I can't accept is Carey, Dougall and Fiorini aimlessly drifting around the pitch seemingly clueless.
Williams looking devoid of ideas after I'd mentioned he was a good signing at start of the season.
Bowler thinking he's the only Blackpool player on the pitch and going for glory time and time again (josh look what the Swansea player did when he was attacking for the goal)
And Jerry being the only forward who pressed (that did change when Lavery came on)
Today only Thompson and Yates imo did enough to earn praise. Even Marv had to put in some last ditch tackles and looks to e missing Uncle Rick already.

Improvements well may be made but I'm afraid that by the time they do it may be too late.
FFS Rotherham put 4 past reading today, a team we struggled to beat only 2 weeks ago!!

Because I’m not qualified for the job. However, having watched high level football for an number of years and having played at a decent level for a number of years - it really isn’t rocket science to notice our game plan from today.

I’m used to it on here. The irony of saying “you should have gone for the managers job” because someone understands a game plan, while ridiculing a manager for his decisions.

It's a two way street, we've started the last two seasons under prepared,difference last season, a massive feel good factor.
This season an unpopular choice of manager, who was a couple of losses away from getting pelters from some. Lack of signings, that's signings not loans, 1 goal in 4 games and Bishop banging them in for fun at Portsmouth.
The whole club, players, staff, fanbase need a lift, they tried to do it with Brannagan but got mugged off and Simms scoring goals for fun at Sunderland.
Give the fans something to get behind, Russell Martin went out to their fans before the game and got them going.
Would everything feel so flat with say Ian Evatt in charge or would people cut him some slack and get behind him ?
We are ready to get support something, but at the moment I feel the team and fans response reflects the managers quiet persona.
It's all a bit flat and it's for Ben Mansford to earn his corn and bring his pal some quality in, especially up front.
 
Hardly the worst fans, from being fantastic one week to being the worst now apparently, one extreme to the other.

Some boos was disappointing and some who never wanted Appleton and slate him online are not helpful, but the atmosphere was very good today at the start of the game, tailed off watching Swansea pass it across their back line.

Some people need to get a grip yes, but these sweeping statements aren't helpful.

Felt ashamed yesterday at the booing. We need to get behind the side and support them. Saw enough in the second half to indicate results and performances can improve.
