Barnet, end of thread.
It's threads like this that you get to reminisce.Far too many to mention:
When I was a Junior Seasider: Arsenal (Super Philly Clarkson) and Charlton (that John Hills goal) away fixtures in the FA Cup stand out.
In my 20s and early 30s, I enjoyed so many amazing away days with FY4, kudos to Smithy and Big Bob. Never a dull moment with FY4!
The Oldham away fixture in the 2007 play offs was one I'll never forget.
All the Prem away days but Liverpool was my favourite!
Wes Hoolahans penalty at Dumpdale is unrivalled in my opinion (as it was the first time I saw us beat the Nobbers away)
Oops yes I know it was…should have read it properly but I blame the glass or two of wine……I could of course said the 1 1draw at Highbury giving us the replay which I went toas wellBut that was at home.
At 5 of those too but not Scunthorpe. All great shouts along with Port Vale 1-6
Yes great weekendFulham season before last was class with the boat trip beforehand
My 14 year old son asked me the other day what was my favourite game ever, not counting Play-offs, and this was my answer. He was astonished ! I need to teach him more history !Darlington 0-4 circa '85
we did take loads. Think Aldridge and Briggs were playing for them.I'll choose a different tack. I wasn't at quite a few of the games mentioned, out of all of them I'd like to have been at Darlington or Forest playoff I think. But I wasn't so that's that.
Instead I shall just say my first ever away game at Oxford in the Cup, after we beat City in 3rd round. We took so many to that, played really well too at a time that Oxford were climbing well in Div2. Recollection is Keith Mercer scoring, and then we got gypped with a dodgy penalty, but can't really remember. I do recall though Everton going there in a later round and were given the whole away end as we had been. Looked rammed and I remember thinking we must have looked impressive that day.
Yeh, what happened?Wembley, 2nd May 1953.
Need I say more?
Think it was a Rolling Stones concert. Jagger was only in his 30's back then.Yeh, what happened?
Was it a good day
It was match 7 of the 10. Last game of the season. The PO's added the other 3.swansea 3 - the mighty 6. morrell hat trick. possibly in the perfect 10, but can't quite remember.
I was there. Leaning out of the open train doors and mocking Preston whilst changing trains at their station topped it off on the way backInterested to see some of the suggestions
Mine: 13 years ago - Stoke City 0 Blackpool 1. DJ Campbell with the goal. Brilliant day and evening after
Swansea away, 2007, 6 3 away win for the final League game of the season before the playoffs run.Interested to see some of the suggestions

Indeed they did not. 50 of them came into the away Paddock just after kick off, then beating them 3-1 didn't help. I was on one of three Supporters Club coaches that had to reverse into the ground to pick us up, on police advise. An honourable mention for the 3-1 win at Ayresome Park in ‘86.
The locals didn’t take it too well.
Some absolutely ridiculous goals in the Swansea game - Morrells side foot volley and one of Parker’s goals some the best I recall for us (not seen live unfortunately!)Swansea away, 2007, 6 3 away win for the final League game of the season before the playoffs run.
OR
Forest away 2010 in the playoffs. What a night.
3 3 and we were put in that pavilion stand - down the keft as we look from their away end nowadays.Nobbers away when Mike Davies screamed one into the top corner.
Can't remember the year
Good point. Think they're my only two as well. Fair few on three sides.3 3 and we were put in that pavilion stand - down the keft as we look from their away end nowadays.
I've watched us from all 4 sides at Deepdung, only other ground I have done that is Brentford.
didn't we spank someone else the week before or after resulting in the sale of Paul Stewart and effectively the end of any promotion hopes...?Port Vale 1 Blackpool 6. Probably won't see a bigger away win ever again.
1st away game for daughter still goes around her work.1st home game Tony Ellis hat trick against us Grandson now goes to home games season ticket Block F.It's threads like this that you get to reminisce.
I was at all those games and some great memories. The rain at that Oldham game.
Fortunate enough to be old enough to be at, and remember, PKE 0 Fred 3.
Was at 'that' Barnet game with my ex and 2 kids and at 5 down my lad started a Blackpool we love you chant, that was the day I knew we had him as a tangerine forever.
Halifax away, opening game to a season, Pool fans running a relay race around the speedway track, LA Olympics were on, Kevin Stonehouse 2 goals.
Leicester away first game back in the Championship is a fantastic memory, as was a 3 3 lge cup draw away at Norwich just after the millennium.
Surprised no one has mentioned the game with Bretts' 89th minutes winner at Deepdung. That celebration
Wish mobile phones had been around all those years ago, would have some great photos, many from.grounds which don't exist any longer.
Yes, Swindon 2 Pool 6. I was in home end with my Swindon based Pool friend and his mate. After about 4th went in, there was mayhem at the front as my BASIL friends were celebratingdidn't we spank someone else the week before or after resulting in the sale of Paul Stewart and effectively the end of any promotion hopes...?
two years on the trot, very surprised when they let us back in for round twoNot for the football, but the Wild West punch up in the Rochdale Supporters Club in the 80's was something I'll never forget!
1993, 3-3 drawNobbers away when Mike Davies screamed one into the top corner.
Can't remember the year
Think it was the week later, we beat Bristol Rovers by the same 6-1 scoreline at home.didn't we spank someone else the week before or after resulting in the sale of Paul Stewart and effectively the end of any promotion hopes...?
I think favourite ever was quite a recent one - Charlton away as it was my stag weekend and somehow co-ordinated 25 lads to a game in London - 23 of them not Blackpool fans (and remarkably we won 3-0!)
