I'm fed up of hearing that schools have been closed - my primary school currently has 42% of the children in who qualify as Critical worker or vulnerable children. schools around the area have up to 80% of the children in. Not a single school I know of is closed, not one. Anyone saying teachers are lazy or just want extra holidays can drift - my staff are now having to do online lessons for half the children whilst teaching the other half in school. The question is, what is the point? Still lots of mixing and transmission opportunities, along with parents travelling etc.
Clueless and piss poor leadership from the government -don't even get me started on the Monday night announcement either!
Edit to add - the roads travelling to school today didn't look any different either - what 'full' lock-down bollocks too!
