Blackpool v Shrewsbury Town Official Matchday Thread 24.04.21

Holmes actually tried a give and go, amazing, shows how easy it is to try something from a forward position rather than go back.

What’s happened to us? We were playing some good stuff, but the last 2 games have certainly not been playoff form!

Chizzy just mentioned Shrewsbury have conceded 50 goals so far yet we look like we couldn’t score if we played till Sunday.

Thats it we go 1 behind from a mistake or deflection and were finished.

Just not enough goals or quality at all.

Said earlier thought injuries would ruin it for us but its not even that, the players out there are just not good enough in the last games.

Doing all the wrong things.

Please can we stop going backwards and sideways and then launching it forward. Why can no one actually run at the opposition?

Ive already said this all season....unless we score first...we are more or less fucked.

We're under the cosh. We need a goal. We need creativity. On comes ............. Ollie Turton (no fault of his by the way). Shades of Graham Taylor bringing on Carlton Palmer 🤦‍♂️
On to Tuesday. It's going to be a battle all the way now.

Utter shite. Special mentions to Ward and Embleton who were beyond dreadful.

Something needs to improve dramatically if we are to even think of the playoffs.
