QPR v Blackpool Official Matchnight Thread 16.08.22

Passing is a bit of a concern at the moment especially when we give it away so cheaply, some positives though but l can see Hubby coming on at some point to stem the tide down our left.

Some good some bad, when we get on the ball we can make something happen.

But passes are failing a bit too often and at times were putting ourselves under pressure.

FFS. get Dougall off, he's been awful tonight, Connolly in his place and Gabriel at right back.

Thompson's getting run ragged, in the book now, Hubby on for him or we could be down to 10 men.

Reminds me of Holloway era, looking brilliant one second and woefully naive the next

Patino did really well there but he's still having problems with his ankle, needs to have it looked at properly at half time and if it is not great he needs to come off, we don't want him out for weeks.

Dougall is proof that we need a midfield general in that position instead of a midfield conscript like Dougall is. That would be my priority before the window closes.

Don’t forget that the two youngsters need games to be accustomed to championship football.

They’ve got plenty of skill and technique - if they can grow their confidence we could have a really effective midfield alongside one of Kenny, Connolly or Weetabix ankles.

Dougall is dog shite last few games. Never looks where a player is, just passes and expects a Blackpool player to be there.
