It's a match thread, what the fuck do you expect?? Oooh aren't we great, aren't we magnificent, we were shaky for the first 10 minutes and grew into it, we then defended brilliantly, scored a cracker but there were negatives to go with the positives, it is okay to say how you feel you know.Maybe he has a life
It does seem that the match thread has become a place for bellends to congregate
Not the best tonight.Grimshaws kicking....
well seeing that's only his third post in well over two years, perhaps that life doesn't involve BFC too much.Maybe he has a life
But what's not OK is just looking for negatives to whinge about - because it suits whatever agenda you have this weekIt's a match thread, what the fuck do you expect?? I was getting my head down but I’m still buzzing from that. Spectacular-no. Easy-no. Exciting-yes, I like my football to have a good dose of ‘peril’. Gutsy performance - yes, makes you proud of the team. Clearest chanting from away fans - as always, yes. I really enjoyed that. Yes we needed that - like a thunderstorm after hot weather releases some pressureGet in. Needed that
Yeah that was not just a little tweak on the ankle. I’ve done similar and been out from footy for a few weeks - and I was similar age then. Now I’d be in traction for a yearAppleton didn't seem very positive about Patino's injury and Fiorini's could be a hamstring so we could be without both for several weeks, that would be a massive blow.
More of a Brentford-style, 4-0 after 40 minutes kind of chap myself.I was getting my head down but I’m still buzzing from that. Spectacular-no. Easy-no. Exciting-yes, I like my football to have a good dose of ‘peril’.
I know - but small stepsMore of a Brentford-style, 4-0 after 40 minutes kind of chap myself.
Down with this sort of thing......
People say that but ultimately his passing isn't good enough to take him beyond this level. Great defender though and has legs that come out of nowhere to get youOne things for sure, after that performance you can't doubt the players want to play for the manager. Never mind Bowler, Marv will be attracting some attention after that display.
You've got to be there at the time, a lot is instant reactions to poor play.I've just been through this thread and ....
Grimshaw can't distribute
Marvin was awful
Thompson is shite
Dougall is shite
Bowler hasn't got a tactical clue
Fiorini is too lightweight
Lavery can't finish
Gabriel doesn't know how to defend
Carey just lets the game go on around him ....
Christ, there ain't half some whinging bastards on here.
Surely of Patino carried on for another 30 mins having been seen by the physio. it can't be that bad?Appleton didn't seem very positive about Patino's injury and Fiorini's could be a hamstring so we could be without both for several weeks, that would be a massive blow.
There are bigger clubs than us in The Championship, be careful what you wish for.People say that but ultimately his passing isn't good enough to take him beyond this level. Great defender though and has legs that come out of nowhere to get you
If he goes for the right price at some point its what our model is about, I'm relaxed about it as I know it'll be reinvested and we try and build from a higher base. There are bigger clubs than us in The Championship, be careful what you wish for.
He said that when he got in at half time and sat down his ankle swelled up and got stiff so they have to stop the swelling so he can have a scan.Surely of Patino carried on for another 30 mins having been seen by the physio. it can't be that bad?
I hope you put that £50 on @seasideone !
Well done I bottled it and just put a fiver on…still so made up
I put a fiver on us
19.50 for me relief from the anxiety and still happy with the resultI put a fiver on us
19 back though , will put petrol in my little Ford Ka for the week
Exactly19.50 for me relief from the anxiety and still happy with the result
exactly. And there's nowt wrong with saying it either. You've got to be there at the time, a lot is instant reactions to poor play.
I don't think the club will hold that against you. The player wanted to try to run it off. He is young, and he hasn't been injured much, so hard for him to know when to stop really. Let's hope for a positive scan once the swelling has gone down. It sounds like he is off to a good start for you. I think he will only get better as he gets to know his teammates and get used to the division. Please god Patino recovers overnight, The Arse won't be happy we left him on
He played through it and the swelling came on when he stopped. Moderate sprain at worst hopefully…..three to four games out max unless there’s sinister imaging on the scan.He said that when he got in at half time and sat down his ankle swelled up and got stiff so they have to stop the swelling so he can have a scan.
