It's a match thread, what the fuck do you expect?? Oooh aren't we great, aren't we magnificent, we were shaky for the first 10 minutes and grew into it, we then defended brilliantly, scored a cracker but there were negatives to go with the positives, it is okay to say how you feel you know.

But what's not OK is just looking for negatives to whinge about - because it suits whatever agenda you have this week
 
Great to get the second win, if what I've seen of Saturdays game had gone for us we'd be second in the league. So to Turf Moor on Saturday & give them a game, who knows we may get something out of it too. Good team effort tonight. 👍

I was getting my head down but I’m still buzzing from that. Spectacular-no. Easy-no. Exciting-yes, I like my football to have a good dose of ‘peril’. Gutsy performance - yes, makes you proud of the team. Clearest chanting from away fans - as always, yes. I really enjoyed that. Yes we needed that - like a thunderstorm after hot weather releases some pressure

Yeah that was not just a little tweak on the ankle. I’ve done similar and been out from footy for a few weeks - and I was similar age then. Now I’d be in traction for a year 🤣

So proud of the lads it was a win I certainly didnt expect at qpr. Great game. The only fans I heard on the tv were the pool fans sounded great so well done to all those that travelled such a long way on a Tuesday night
Let’s hope fiorini and patino arnt out too long and maybe we can bring that midfielder into the club before the window closes
On to Burnley.
With our new injuries I’m not expecting anything from this game. Would be over the moon if we could get a draw. I will be there loud and proud. UTMP
 
Just watched sky highlights and it was such a great win but I’m still worried about where the goals will come from as we can’t win 1-0 every time. We need to sign someone who can simply put the ball in the net and know when to pass to another member of the team better placed to tap it in. Think that happened again last night and the camera then focused on Appy who looked really pissed off and he needs to concentrate on this in training. Let’s hope we can continue yesterday’s form at Turf Moor on Saturday. UTMP

I don't think the club will hold that against you. The player wanted to try to run it off. He is young, and he hasn't been injured much, so hard for him to know when to stop really. Let's hope for a positive scan once the swelling has gone down. It sounds like he is off to a good start for you. I think he will only get better as he gets to know his teammates and get used to the division.
 
Im so pleased after last nights game . I live in London but wasnt v optimistic about our chances from what Ive seen or heard about our performances so far. Despite the flaws we can see, it showed we can hack it against Championship sides (albeit we need some strengthening). I was proud of the effort and spirit and in the first half we played some nice football. Patino looked promising,so hope hes not out for long. Good to see Williams doing well too. Thompson had a shaky start but grew into it. Love his energy and battling style, just needs to control his aggression a bit to avoid sendings off !

He played through it and the swelling came on when he stopped. Moderate sprain at worst hopefully…..three to four games out max unless there’s sinister imaging on the scan.
