    M55 to get Service Station

there’s a future ´vision’ for an EV owner to rent or lease a battery, drive into a service station and have the battery replaced as quickly as it takes to fill up with petrol.

    M55 to get Service Station

Lots of cars = lots of petrol needed. Lots of people commuting to M/cr,Liverpool etc = convenience shopping for groceries. Lots of families stuck in heavy traffic = lots of people needing a wee wee.

Best 5 Sunday Alliance players you played with

Wils (Dave Wilson) was one of my best mates at school. He’ll be chuffed that he got a mention! Played loads with him,Ian Hewitt and a bit with Diggle & Lyons. Hewitt was absolute class.A regular in BFC reserves at 15 but we reckon he never had real a passion for the game despite being so good.

What's your fave 'Pool chant/song over the years?

“The Dutch …. It’s like watching the Dutch …. It’s just like watching the Dutch” I remember a cup game where we passed Stockport off the park in the days of Wellens,Ormerod,Murphy when Stockport were in the championship and this was sung continuously. Love the chant because it’s unique to...

Injustice of rhe Government - COVID and Wembley

The whole point of lockdown and other restrictions was to ‘protect the NHS and save lives’. The current NHS bed occupancy level for coronavirus patients is 1.2% of total capacity with over 8% of beds unoccupied. If the NHS is in a position to look after the sick and cope with any increase,why...

Which of the promotion/Premier League squad do you consider LEGENDS

A lot of legends somehow seem to have a ‘special’ bond with the fans. One that’s hard to explain sometimes but it’s just there.Billy Ayres would be a legendary manager for most of us for example. Evatt,Brett,GTF & Crainey all had it too.Baptiste was a great defender but just didn’t have that same...

Which of the promotion/Premier League squad do you consider LEGENDS

The Vaughan debate reminds me of a charity do that I attended where Holloway did a Q&A... Q: Would you agree that Charlie is the best midfielder in the division? A: No Q: Who is then? A: David Vaughan. Q: Why? A: Give David Vaughan the ball and you know you’ll get it back. The problem with...

    Songs from Bloomfield

The singing of YNWA at Wembley vs Scunthorpe that Bispham Seasider mentions is well worth watching for anyone who has never seen it.Full of raw emotion. Beaten on pens in the previous years final,Blackpool had battered Scunny but the game was somehow 1-1.As the Scunny keeper & defenders were...

Does it matter who scores for Pool?

Agreed.Just posted this reply on another thread.. We’re obviously not Liverpool..... but Bobby Firminio’s main job as a number 9 isn’t to score the goals - They come from Salah & Mane. Besides the slight (!) difference in skill levels - what’s the difference to us having CJ and one other...
