As an ex-Reading boy, still follow some of what they’re up to. When they put Millwall(?) out of the EFL Cup, and ‘E+12’ scored 3 goals, the opposition fans commented that they’d been beaten by a Wi-Fi login. The Reading fans took this to heart and now call him Wi-Fi 🤣 Noticed the stadium...

    Cameron Brannagan

Saw him on the pitch for the last 15 minutes of a friendly at Hungerford Town on Tuesday. Didn’t make me go ‘oh wow, look at him’.

    Best Performing Championship Club

Bumped into this. Seems like a reasonably scientific approach, though unlikely to be perfect. Thoughts? https://www.bettingodds.com/news/report-fulham-and-bournemouth-may-have-flown-into-the-premier-league-but-this-is-the-best-performing-championship-club

    Eastbourne Borough

Spent the afternoon at Hungerford Town in National League South, watching them play Eastbourne. Bumped into travelling fans, and had a chat with the Chairman. They still love their fellow Seasiders, but he was a little disappointed that BFC didn’t respond when he contacted the Club last summer...

    Ovie Ejaria

It was an unusually long chat on the pitch - 90 seconds? - much more than a ‘good to see you mate’. He’s allegedly on £7.5k/week at Reading, but his career has stalled. 24 years old? Take a punt and come to where you’d be valued, albeit on less money. Still time to dream of a good deal more...

    Poor officiating

Yup - 14-3 on the foul count and it wasn’t a dirty game. The only yellow wasn’t for any of them. The lino in front of the West was pathetic. Twice (one corner/goal kick, one throw-in) he and the ref looked at each other for 5 seconds, waiting for the other to Decide which way they should be...

    Are all oxford fans deluded?

Can’t disagree, though they’ve sorted the town centre. Unrecognisable from 20 years ago
