Counting not your strong point Bispham? I make it 13 Fylde players who have played regularly in the EFL.
Ignoring the sarcasm, when I said that I had a
scan through their squad last night, rather than a comprehensive check, today I have looked at both wikipedia (which I had quickly scanned through yesterday) and talso the Fylde website. As I have now seen, the wikipedia page is not as up to date as the clubs website, but it is still useful of course to check for appearances. However, it makes little difference in the number of players who regularly played in the EFL.
The Fylde website gives a squad of 24, and these are the players I can find, by cross referencing that and wikipedia, who have played in the EFL. Note that this includes both those who have played regularly in the EFL, which is six players and those who have played short periods in the EFL (two players). And finally there are three loan players from EFL sides, two of whom have little experience in the League.
Played regularly in the EFL (6 players)
Lewis Montrose - aged 31, Lewis played regularly for a few clubs in League Two, though he moved down to the National League North in 2015, to play for Stockport County and has not played in the EFL since 2015.
Alex Whitmore - aged 27, First part of his career he spent being loaned out to non-League sides Chester and Gateshead. Alex spent the 2016-17 season on loan at Morecambe, playing 35 games. In 2017-18 he was on loan at Bury (8 games) and Chesterfield (15 games). Then last season he made 31 appearances for Grimsby. All League Two.
Danny Philliskirk - 28 year old, spent two years at Blackpool, 154 League appearances in 7 years for various clubs, mostly in League One.
Tom Miller - 29 years old, spent most of his career in non-League after a season in the League of Ireland, before 4 years in the EFL with first Carlisle United then one season with Bury. So from 2009 to 2015, League of Ireland and non-League, followed by 4 years in the EFL. And out of those 4 years, he had 2 seasons playing regularly, followed by 2 seasons with 17 and 7 appearances.
Andy Taylor - 33 years old, long EFL career with 307 League appearances for various clubs, mostly in League One and also including a full season in The Championship with Sheffield United in 2009-10. Also played for Blackpool.
Mark Yeates - 35 years old, very long career starting in 2002, played 3 times for Spurs. A lot of experience in The Championship and has nearly 400 EFL appearances.
Played in the EFL, but not regularly (two players)
Jordan Williams - aged 27, spent most of his career in non-League, but spent 2 years at Rochdale in League One, playing 11 times in 2017-18 plus a loan spell at Lincoln (League Two) and 19 times in 2018-19, before being released by Rochdale. Not a regularl in the EFL as the vast majority of his career was with Burscough, Northwich Victoria and then Barrow.
Nick Haughton - 25 years old. Vast majority of his career has been in non-League. Though he spent two seasons at Fleetwood between 2014 and 2016, making a total of 40 appearances. Again not a regular in the EFL.
Loan players from EFL clubs with varying experience (three players)
These last three are loan players from EFL sides, so they aren't actual Fylde players. And they will presumably be returning to their parent clubs. Walker and French have just a small number of EFL games between them.
Jamie Proctor - aged 27, played for a number of sides, mostly in League One, but played 16 games in The Championship with Rotherham.
Tom Walker - aged 24, 18 appearances for Bolton in the EFL and 11 for Bury.
Tyler French - 21 years old, two EFL games for Bradford City
Please excuse any errors, no doubt there are some!! And just to point out, this isn't a criticism of Fylde at all nor TTJ, just an observation and response. And I had sod all to do this afternoon and I like being nosey...
