Akinfenwa

I met him a couple of years ago in the Members’ Lounge at Wycombe ( I was a guest). He is articulate and affable. He stands at about 5’ 10”, but is impossible to beat in the air because of his bulk. Even big CH’s have to lean over him by about a metre to get their head to the ball, and in doing so lose all momentum. This tie is done !

I like him also. If it wasn't for him Wycombe would not be in the play-offs at all.
When we played Wycombe here he was the best man on the pitch. For his height and weight he wins far more headers than you would expect.
Good luck to him/them, although they probably won't need it against the Cods. 😁

He's a very good lower league player. He knows his limitations and those limitations means he's never gone higher in the game. Teams play to his strengths and last night seemed to show not only is he a good leader but he commands the respect of everyone around him.

Agree with all of this. Very good lower league player and he speaks well. I think he'd be good management material. Plenty of charisma.

Saw him on the "Watchalong" option of the Merseyside derby last week on Sky (as he is a Liverpool fan)
Came across very well and can see Sky getting him more involved on the punditry side in the near future.

He also gave as good as he got to the North, when we played them earlier in the season

He's the worlds strongest footballer, I can see this guy try and do a strongman competition when he gives up football.
