Another Season Ticket update

I found an app to count dots, so I counted seat availability.
I used the capacities off Wikipedia, which says they're from the 2018 safety certificate - so I'm not sure if those capacities include the netted off seats at the front of the north, etc., and the disabled seats at the fronts of the stands, which aren't available to purchase season tickets for but may be included in the stand capacity. If they do, then sales are actually slightly lower.

Well done for your efforts.
Hospitality ST will offset the other factors you mentioned plus the opted out ST holders from last year.
Amazing how many leave it until late particularly this Covid year.
Wouldn‘t be surprised to see another surge in sales from late July until kick off

Thanks for that.

I suppose the bottom few rows of some of the North Stand will be netted off again, but still heading for 8.5K+ ST holders which is good.

I can't understand why the North West is only 36% full though.

It's a great view.
Much rather sit in the top half of the North West Stand than the bottom 10 rows of any of the other stands.

Each to their own I suppose.

Surely more seats will become available on1st July. So the actual number sold is going to be lower than 7800. Good work though, use your app again on 1/7.

Possibly, but I also think it's reasonable to assume that if over 7k have already purchased, the vast majority of the 4k that bought last season will have renewed or will be renewing.

Just to add, I counted all the dots in the north, and the total was within 12 of the capacity on Wikipedia - so those capacities include the netted off areas, which are over 200 seats - so take that off the sales totals.

The greyed out seats include seats that used to belong to people who have moved to different seats, too, I think. But we still have a while to go before the season starts, and a week at the discount price. 8000 looks achievable and would be pretty good. No match ticket prices yet? Seems a bit devious to me! Just tell us what it's all going to cost.

If you renew but move, your seat becomes blue on the tracker at that point. Someone mentioned it last week that their old seat was now available.

Great post
Take a bow TT brilliant deductive skills, if there was a a vacancy for AVFTT Chief statistician you would be the prime candidate for proficiency in observation, computer skills and logic Oh and a great passion for our club that makes you want to do it! -or were you just bored with nothing else to do 😄 sit back and have a 🍺 you deserve it

I chose to sit in the front rows (and 4 season tickets renewed today) as my 3 sons are short so cant see over peoples heads if they sit behind them 😀

At a glance it doesn't look a lot like masses have gone since I did my last count which was 7239 a few days ago. Although some have definitely gone...so the totals probably include the front 2 row seats in the north.

Also the first row of the south wasn't available seemingly.

There's 24 rows in a north block and 28 seats wide, so with the front one gone its only 22 x 28 minus any left for eg is how I did it per block with different sizes and seats missing and minus off the blocks with the tunnell etc too.

But its still ticking along and looking promising.

Edit to add, just checked a block and seems like an additional 35 had gone since checking on Friday, so more than I have thought there.

We have 4 that will be renewed before the early bird date - never really seen the point in queueing on the first day when there's usually a month to get your tickets!

Having a problem renewing mine with e-ticketing, it’s in my basket, but when I click to pay, it says errors on this page. There are no errors, it just confirms my seat and the price. Tried three times now with the same result. Emailed the ticket office at 10am for advice and heard nothing yet.

I had an error after checking out so rang them and they sorted it all over the phone in no time, real efficient

Tried three times this week and same problem. E-mailed ticket office this morningbut no response so just called them and renewed now. Was on hold for 5 minutes or so until I got through.

Yep - something not right as each time I went all way through payment before it crashed. Still not sure I had paid or not so had to check statement to make sure money hadn't been taken out.

First time I've had any problem with e-ticketing. Anybody waiting to renew don't leave it too late, just in case !

Just shy of 7600 seats gone as of a few hours ago.

We will still have corporate to add to this plus any more st sales.

Great effort so assuming corporate sells out we can add another 800 or so which makes it 8.4K so if we can hit 9k that would be brilliant.

Still think we might hit 10000 particularly if we get a true Wow signing. Having said that very happy with signings so far as they fit our strategy of improving young talent.

Thought someone said we were over 8k ?

Maybe including corporate

Or that assumed all ST holder seats renewed, there are quite a few waiting til payday though.
Not sure when that was said the seats counted are the ones that include the 4k, they should have sold, or the vast majority.

So just shy of 7600 is assuming all the previous st holders renew. Which id image only a very small number wouldn't.

Corporate can add upto 800 sales I think but probably won't all be ST's.

Also matchday sales are often a significant chuck of total sales so its all looking very healthy.

We used to have Corporate in the 'good old days' and I'd say there were only about 40 of us who had ST's up there. The boxes maybe account for another 100 or so? I'd be surprised if you are talking more than a couple of hundred in total. The problem with ST Corporate was always it's a great seat but we'd miss at least half the meals in the season either because we couldn't be bothered or the timings just weren't right.

Jpool i have purchased 2 on front row of south and my brothers and friends so they are definately on sale

Well of there is i havent seen any seats available in it since the start, which is usually a giveaway.

If they have then there's a few extra, the only ones showing blue are the front single seats in T and x

All the rest have been grey since the start which is unusual as usualy there's at least 1 in the middle or somewhere to tell you they available. This is all along wash south block at the very front.

Did you mean the very front row or the front row available thats slightly raised up?

Anyway small numbers and a few to increase if so.

Jpool i sit on first row on block u row c which is the first row as you go up steps
If you have to go up steps it isn't the very first row being described, the row all grey at the very front is literally at pitch level not raised at all so where the disabled sit? The greyed out may not all be seats some may be disabled spaces which might explain it?

Sales seem to have really slowed in the last week or so. Hopefully a few more sell before the deadline. After the fast start I hoped we might sell 9k plus.

Isn’t payday the final Friday of the month?

There will be a good few who buy in early August.
Some folk leave it late even if it will cost them more.
