Another Season Ticket update

Good numbers, hopefully it'll get to 8500 by the close of the early bird window. I'm unsure how many will leave buying to the last minute but think the club should be targeting another 1000. With hospitality on top, that really would be a brilliant response in the current climate.

The front row of the South is available. It is not netted off.
As said before I went off there never being a single blue dot there at all, which was unusual. So presumed there weren't available at least on there.

Its a miniscule amount anyway and only an estimate.

I know the north definitely is not available front 2 rows.

I sit onfirst row in south stand with my son and brothers ,so know these are on sale
You said the other day about your seat as you go up the step its there, so not the front row being discussed on the ticket planner which will probably be the disabled row......

Anyway all estimates based on all st holder renewing so well find out very soon.

Could easily be 10k season tickets including hospitality plus all the ones who can't commit to a season ticket so 12k home supporters should be a minimum plus away support, it's going to be a cracking atmosphere and possibly the biggest average crowds not including the PL season in the new stadium. What a difference.

I'd be surprised if we average over 14,217. Maybe an average closer to the 11/12 season.

I don't understand why the club hasn't allowed in house installments - £60 a month starting 1st July, people wil have paid for 8 games already before a ball is kicked.

Where was the risk?

The risk is fickle fans who if we have a bad start may stop paying . The club will not be accredited as a credit agency so will have no recours apart from cancelling the season ticket.

Using a credit agency means the club get the money up front and any risk sits with the credit agency who do have the wherewithal to pursue non-payment.

But the money is always ahead, hence there's never a risk of a debt.

I just think this excludes those who it could really help.

The risk is that they only pay for a few months then sack it off. If everyone did that then a massive effect on cash-flow.

Its not a great risk but as stated previously the club is not an accredited credit agency so it is not simple from a regulatory point of view.

Jjpool your right i did say first row in stand up 2 steps i dont count the very front where wheelchair users sit ,and these havnt been covered with nets

Has the club got an established scheme to let Youth Team, local students, deserving cases..etc buy a discounted ticket or get a freebie at the last minute? In a previous life I used to work in nightclubs and we'd always have a list of people to call if we weren't at capacity.
I get that it could be annoying for those who saved up for full price tickets, but as a ST holder I'd prefer seats got filled by potential 'fans of the future' than stay empty.
After years of Oyston rule I'd imagine we probably haven't exhausted our opportunities for local community engagement and charity work. Is there an obvious reason why this wouldn't work?

The simple way round this is that anyone the club advance a season ticket to has to be turned down by the credit agency.

Maybe stick an extra ten, twenty or thirty quid on the price for any the club have to issue themselves, just to make people want to use the credit company - you could always refund it or discount off next year if they complete payment.

Also, just have a rule - maybe one or two missed payments and your ticket is cancelled with no refund.

So the seat planner is now not available, presumably will be back once updated with prices and any reserved should now show and the club should provide a firm update on actual sales.

Should be fairly close to what's has been put on this site....

There are now 94 available seats in the North, a rise of 50 from yesterday.

It seems like quite a few haven't been taken up in the central blocks in the West also.

It'll be interesting to see what the dot counter comes back with.

I’d be surprised if we don’t match it, more STs will be sold despite the early bird plus corporate plus away fans plus day trippers plus I’d guesstimate 1000
Or 2 pay on the day tangerines which will
Grow depending how long it takes into the season till
We hit top of the league.

Hope you're right and I'm more than happy to be proven wrong. I think we will average around 12.5k to 13k this season.

If that's the case it's excellent. I reckon they'll be quite a few sell outs during the course of the season to bump up the average. That'll have to be offset against some smaller midweek night games in the midst of winter. But if we average 12.5 - 13 thousand that's to be commended. 👍

Absolutely 👍🏻

I agree that we should expect a few sell outs this season too. I mean we could cheat like PNE and B'burn and give the away fans 5k seats to boost our average right up. But if the demand is there to put home fans in the East then we should be doing so.
