Unfortunately my two uncles, cousin and his children have chosen to go down the wrong road and support Preston, my mum's side are Preston,my dad's are all Seasiders. Any other Pool fans with split family loyalties?.

All my husband family born And bred in Nobberland (someone has to be) my husband never supported nobbers
We’re all season ticket holders at Bloomfield rd None of his family are pne fans only one and it’s a big family

My wife, the father in law, mother in law and brother in law all support "The Dark Side" and so does my daughter.
My two lads support the mighty.
It has caused some arguments between me and the mrs. She is your typical bitter nobber. She absolutely ** hates us. 😂🧡
I however have a feeling of total indifferent towards those sad fuckers. 😂🧡
She's not going to be happy when we leave the house in Fulwood on Saturday to go to the match. 😂🧡
I asked the brother in law if he fancied coming 'cause he couldn't get a smelly nobber ticket. Now I've gone behind enemy lines to watch the mighty when I couldn't get a ticket twice. The 2008 game and the one when Charlie scored. He refused, he said "I wouldn't be able to stop myself if we scored.😂 😂😂😂
We're both sat here wrapped in blankets waiting for the heating engineer to come out and repair the boiler. I keep singing
"Allez, Alez, Alez oh! "
"Allez, Alez, Alez oh! "
Blackpool FC!
Tangerine army!
She keeps swearing and cursing at me. 😂

Not relatives but got a good few Nobber mates from my BAES Warton days many I still keep in contact with and often meet up to share a beer or two when we have ex works/department do’s.

I used to work with 3 Knobbers who were sisters and came from Penwortham...the posh part

My mum was from Preston originally til age 5 and my Gran was a big PNE fan, and even went to school with Tom Finney. We had many lively discussions back in the day, me and gran. My mum wasn't interested but didn't like it if I got too anti Preston. She'd say hey, be careful, I'm from Preston! Dad was a Pool fan, Lytham born and bred. Worked at County Hall in Preston. His dad worked at Lytham Hall, and his mum was from a Lytham shrimping family.

My two eldest daughters partners are both Nobbers. One will be there on Saturday.

We've agreed not to meet.

My son in law, bless him, is one of them. He's a good lad but a typical nobber, never goes "on". He is "considering" attending the beam back. Apparently some of the 3000 tickets are still available. Secretly, I can tell he's crapping it.

I’m really not bothered who people support & I’d rather it be Knobend than some distant Premier League outfit. That said I’ve had some good arguments over the years, mostly civil, bar a couple of cretins who came unstuck after we won. Verbals only.

Stop being sensible and making good points, this is a PKE bash-a-thon.

As for relatives, fuck no.

I’ve lived in Fulwood since I was 5 but it was instilled in me from an early age by my dad and brother to love Blackpool and hate North End, so I would wear my Blackpool scarf to (Fulwood High) school in defiance. My two sons are keen Blackpool fans and have had season tickets since they were little. My husband, however, is a nobber and he hates Blackpool as much as I hate ‘the scum.’ He calls us, “you lucky, lucky lashers!” He could hardly speak when we were promoted to the premier league. It was SO good… I love being a Blackpool fan.

Fuck it let's get the inbreeds walloped on Saturday, how dare they suggest they've got the remotest chance!
I don't think it's a Burnley but yeah I heard it does indeed take place in the area.....

I watched that gazette pool pne podcast with Scrafton and Seddon and some other bloke.

Tickets came up and Matt explained the situation, that Dave Seddon seemed a typical nobber, in that he couldn't seem to get the situation, like we've seen before and was saying they will reciprocate.

I've found that typical of the lack of understanding of the facts when I've brought it up.

Yet one fact completely shuts them up.

In 2007 when the Invincibles stand was being built they gave us a reduced allocation, prioritising home fans.

How's that any different?.. checkmate.

Watch a nobber try and argue out of that one....

My biggest client at work is a Nobber with a box at Deepdale. We've got a meeting next Tuesday morning which is going to be ** tense.
If you win, you’ve lost a client.

If you draw, you still have a client.

If you lose, you’ve lost a client, unless you smile and suck it up.

I suspect the last option only has one outcome. 😉

I'd take the win, it's only work UTMP

One of my oldest mates... He lived for a while on Deepdale Road too. In one of the terraced houses down near the prison.

Many years ago I took him to an away game up at Carlisle with my ex wife. He was totally paranoid, convinced everyone knew he was a Preston fan.

My late Mum was born in Preston, though brought up in Blackpool.

I remember that game. We all knew he was a nobber - he should've worn gloves (or mittens)!

A mixed Blackpool/PKE relationship or marriage makes the whole Catholic/Protestant thing look fairly simple.

I could just about cope with one of my lot marrying a Preston supporter, but if they tried to bring up my grandchildren supporting that lot…..!? Well it just doesn’t bear thinking about.

Fortunately it hasn’t happened so hey ho

My parents bought their house in Fulwood on Black Bull Lane off Tom Finney and we continued to receive his post for a few years… I would take it round for him to his new house on my yellow chopper bike. He was a really friendly guy.

A couple of years ago my cousin (Blackpool fan) had treatment at RPH and I accompanied him. We got chatting to his oncologist about football who proudly announced he lived in the house once owned by Tom Finney. Small world!! When I told him I’d grown up in that house, he invited me to go and meet his wife for a cup of tea. I never did get round to it though…
