Are the Dingles Doomed?

Once Burnley lose Tarkowski they are doomed,We could have a few derbies nxt year, the 3 points against Hull was massive

Newcastle will try to spend their way out of trouble. They need to finish above Watford. Proper 6 pointer lost today though. Leeds seem to want it more.

Normally I'd be convinced Burnley would survive, but the takeover at Newcastle might just be their undoing this year.

They've had a good run, but they're a small club and it was only a matter of time.

They usually come strong in the second half of the season. I do wonder if their style naturally works better against opposition who are physically more tired near the end of the season than it does at the start?

According to a Dingle mate of mine he’s now accepting the inevitable, and l suggested they could be replaced by T’Rovers, still waiting for a response 🤣🤣
And still waiting for a response, don’t understand really as he’s always quick to have a poke when the Mighty get beat 🤣🤣🤣

They've done unbelievably to be fair, who'd have thought it when we tonked them 5-0 in the early 2010's.

Looking forward to getting back in that stand behind the goal, though I see it doesn't have wooden seats anymore, junior bent in the last minute!.

What will be interesting with Burnley is if they can do a Norwich and become a decent YoYo team or if they'll have over-spent horribly and find the readjustment too much.

Ironically I know a few Burnley fans who say a year in the Championship with local derbies and at the right end of the table is what some of the supporters want. Although careful what you wish for!

The Dalek voiced football cliche generating machine could only keep it up for so long before his Duracell’s ran out. How’s about Rankie Points McAvoider who is currently polishing his P45?

Have heard some horror stories about how much they have spent on all the ‘extras’ that Prem clubs supposedly need these days!

Big night tonight .. away at Villa with Everton at home to Palace .. wonder if Gerrard will save a few of the Villa players for Sunday against City to give Liverpool a fighting chance of the title?!

Huge night for the 3 clubs fighting against relegation. I fancy Everton will have enough to get something against Palace and Arsenal, if they can keep 11 players on the pitch. Burnley need something tonight, even though they still have a reasonable chance against Newcastle on Sunday, given their away form is patchy. Leeds will be praying for Villa and Palace, if they do drop back into the bottom 3, I think they're fecked.

yep, intriguing night and weekend ahead. I think Everton will get the result tonight to be safe. And if Burnley can get out of the bottom 3 tonight then it's all pressure on Leeds. If I had to commit, think it will be Leeds that go.

I hate dirty Leeds & would like to see them take the drop; however, I don't want their minging supporters anywhere near Bloomfield Road.
I think it will be dirty Leeds, but I would prefer it to be Everton, as that would give us two great games.

I think some are forgetting how dreadful Everton have been the last two thirds of the season, I would say they are a good bet for the drop, they're shit.

Lancashire league would be epic, us and nobbers, Burnley and Blackburn plus Wigan.

Some great games there.

Has to happen.

I dearly hope they come down because we all 8 Burnley.

But had Leeds down for weeks

all them years of running tight ship and comfortably staying up year on year, influx of loadsa money and gone to F***, catastrophic if they go financially

Burnley staying up is my preference. Brother's a Burnley fan but that aside they've scrapped for Dyche and now doing the same for Mike Jackson.
Had the fulcrum of their midfield /attack sold last season and apart from Weghorst little spent so yes... Happy to see overspending Everton or unpleasant Leeds take the drop

I’ll second that
