Armand back?

Apparently he has left the club he was at in Turkey and has just posted that he is back in England on his Instagram story, could he return?

He is proven at this level and therefore will be in demand from lg1 clubs and bottom end championship clubs. I agree Critchley would make him a better player. If he is in England to 'sign' for someone I would imagine, knowing NC and SS, we will be in there fighting for his signature. History tells us we do our business early in transfer windows so the first week in Jan will be an interesting watch. 👍

"Have Ways Parted With Armand Gnanduillet? According to media reports, 28-year-old striker Armand Gnanduillet, who was transferred from Blackpool at the beginning of the season, is said to have returned to England and parted ways with our club."

Gnanduillet in Altai is gone It was stated that he said goodbye to the team, stating that he was unhappy with the transfer at the beginning of the season. It was stated that the management wanted to sit at the table with the actor's lawyer and terminate the contract through mutual agreement.

Interesting stuff. Wonder where he'll end up, I'd be very surprised if it was back here.

Be surprised if he struggles for a club to be honest. It very rarely seems to work out for players that leave these shores for Turkey.

He left for very good money and it seems an odd time to return when clubs are streched for money and have many other restrictions.

Couple of points:

1) dude really needs to sack his agent. Got a ‘big’ move to South Africa that lasted about three months. Now went to Turkey instead of the Championship and it’s not lasted six months. Classic English lower-leagues centre forward doesn’t always convert elsewhere!

2) better get the deal done by Thursday ‘cause (unless he picked up British residency ... possible) he won’t get a work permit after Friday

Hardly set the world alight in Turkey, I'd have him back as a squad player though.

It's a NO from me. Let Critchley build his own team. Gnanduillet did well for us but still wanted away. We are frequently being told that our squad has bonded both on and off the pitch. Let's not upset the applecart.

He left once before and came back and did well again. He is a goal scorer and a talisman and a very difficult player to play against. I'm not that fussed either way really but I'd be chuffed if he did come back. He's unique, a complete one off. Worth watching, unpredictable. A welcome variation from the norm.

He is great at defending set pieces too. Something we are poor at.

Yes please. Won't happen though.

As for the love in with Critch making him a better player, he had a good season without him. now Calderwood, well, that's different....

He'll always think the grass is greener somewhere else. That's his prerogative, but I dont think he fits the young hungry player model we are generally going for. I would pass.

We need a striker who is willing to work under the salary cap so if that's Gnado great because for 2.5K a week your not going to have a long queue to come to Lge1.

His short time with us, was perhaps the most settled in his career. He‘s clearly headstrong and in need of good advice and management. He would have secured a Championship club, so the move to Turkey at that level was bizarre.

I‘d welcome him back and I think it would add to an already scary frontline. Seems he’s back in Manchester, but who knows, he could even be off to Tranmere to partner up with Feeney again.

If Critch thinks he is capable of doing a job for this team in the new system(s) then I would back his return.

Maybe he'll get his move to 'Boro this time.
