The surprise is that anyone is surprised. Been like that for years. Never give Blackpool any credit. I gave up listening years ago. We travel 90 mins to games and long since realised even that wasn't long enough to get any decent mention of Blackpool. Their loss.

You know I was thinking much the same on my way back and was getting so pissed off with the xxxxxxx Scot ( Preston and Blackburn) and the Southern xxxx ( Burnley).
The only reason I listened was to hear “ Apps” view on the game which we didn’t get….you don’t even get the fooking results of all the leagues any more on 5 Live ….think next time I”ll put Boom Radio on( by the way try it at least you get a great selection of music…)

The pecking order at the station is Rovers, Pne , Burnley then us with Rovers way ahead. Accrington get way more coverage than the cods and Morecambe even though they're all in the same League.
The girl they have on reading texts and tweets from 5 to 6 is laughable. Another box ticking exercise.

I don’t mind Graham Liver in the morning on my way to work but the sports coverage is biased against us for sure. Keep us under the radar for what I care. I don’t really need anybody to tell me how good we were in the second half yesterday & for me did enough in the first half to justify being level.

It’s funny reading all this; I have an hours drive home after the match and flick between radio 5, lancs and talkSPORT. Yesterday I didn’t hear anything on lancs about the pool. It’s always the same tbh, so shouldn’t be surprised, we weren’t even in the hierarchy, every team including accy and morcambe gets mentioned!! There was even mention of the derby coming up - yes t’rovers and Burnley!! It is radio Blackburn, and the Preston praise was vomit inducing - whoever that plant pot was at their game?!! Back to national radio for me for pool updates!

Yes, lost the signal just as the programme finished at 6.00. We got a one line mention at 5.48 when Gallagher said our indisposable (sic) player was Gary Madine. That was it.

There was some discussion of promotion. Gallagher thinks Rovers will go up, PKE will make the playoffs and win them, while Little thinks Burnley are going up.

Quiet Division for us next season...
