Blackpool v Morecambe Official MatchNight Thread 14.11.23

Miles has struggled, his first touch in the main has been poor. Mariette has been tidy enough as has Squires once they'd settled in to the game. Great to see Gabriel back on the pitch, Casey is class and I've been impressed with Weir, Beesley and Lyons. Considering there isn't much on it, we've controlled the game well and scored a good goal.

Mariette is doing ok and hopefully Miles can grow in the game. Oakley Booth is neat and tidy but needs to do a lot more to challenge the first team. Weir is often missing and should be making a difference at this level but doing ok. Gabriel is looking good, just lacking that sharpness. Lyons would be great for us in a more normal formation and providing overlapping runs.

Miles is a very promising youngster he needs encouraging.
Just saying what I see, he's been poor but that is almost certainly down to a little bit of nerves. Hopefully he can settle down and show more of what he is about in the 2nd 45. Ultimately it is great to see so many young players and nights like tonight are perfect for them to cut their teeth.

far too cautious.

little bits of quality here and there.
well taken goal by bees.

the refs obviously looking to get attention. Miles is subject to a physical assault by their number 6, nothing - miles goes in slightly raised boot for a fifty fifty with the morcambe player doing the same and he gets a yellow. the other yellow to us was also ridiculous and then the blind ** doesnt give anything at all for a boot down the shins of weur.
