Blackpool v Nobbers Official Matchday Thread 22.10.22

We’ve played great the last two Saturdays and absolutely shocking last night so something in between for me like a dull draw.
 
Reports this morning saying Madine Thornley Williams only rated 50/50 for Saturday 😩😩😩
The team would have to be summat like this as we’d have 9/10 players out which is practically a first team squad. If those three are also out gunna have to be summat like this

I thought Williams had been excused this game due to him being from the land of Knobbers and being his team . So he will be 100% no
 
We need to sort the midfield out to stand any chance. No one knows our best midfield. In my opinion it's because they are all mainly shit so it's like trying to pick who is the least shittest which is tough.

Bridcutt fit enough for 75 and 45 so he should be fine to go.

Husband should be OK for 70 ish.

We desperately need Madine and Thornily to be quick healers. Then it's a straight choice of who replaces Lavery; Corbeanu or Poveda. I'd go with Poveda, I just think he's technically better. I'd love to go with Husband over Thompson but think that's too big of a risk in such a game.
 
Hoping for a draw but with our injuries, suspensions, poor home form and loss of the momentum we had last year all I can see is a defeat - but we won't play as badly as we did on Wednesday (hopefully)
 
Getting passed up at home now, few Cara’s coming round, Mrs family and friends of mine all massive footy fans and have a genuine interest in Blackpool FC coz of me obvs but also they remember us from our brief flirtation with the PL.

I’ll be up for KO though on TTV 8am Brazza time, come on you Tangerine Beauties💪⚽️

On a side note, got one of my Bessie’s from Bispham here next week an we’ll be taking in my Brazilian adopted team Coritiba v Flamengo and v Corinthians whilst he’s here🍺⚽️🍺⚽️🍺⚽️🤪

I would love to see Corbeanu playing wide left. He’s too predictable on the right.
Madine (if fit) and Yates up front (Gerry not to be playing left wing back so he can feed off the goal machine)
Marv being back is huuuuge
Praying Thorniley is fit
Williams on the bench - I just would not start him in an ideal world, if he makes a mistake all the old “he’s a knobbier at heart” bollox will come back out
 
To every Seasider and his/her dog inside and out of Bloomfield Road, please give the team your support, give the Nobbers hell.
Even if we concede first, just back our lads for the full game. I know you will. M55 Derby day. Nothing like it in the whole world.

Setting off. Expecting the worse but just got to hope the players can play like their life depended on it. My worry is that we won’t have the physical presence to get on the front foot like Hull. Need to cut out the basic and individual errors otherwise there is no point.
