Not bothering to start a thread on it but I do not like Grimshaw's distribution. I prefer Maxwell's.
I think even those draws are a bit pie in the sky based on our current form.Next six games coming up and I can’t see us taking many points from them, if I’m honest I’d say 5 or 6 points out of 18 potentially at best (prediction in brackets), but if we come away with less then changes have to be made.
QPR away 16/8. (L)
Burnley away 20/8. (L)
Bristol City home 27/8. (W)
Blackburn home 31/8. (D)
Huddersfield away 4/9. (D)
Boro home 10/9. (D)
I just hope I’m proved wrong
That's as maybe but Grimshaw is the better keeper so for me that's irrelevant. Not bothering to start a thread on it but I do not like Grimshaw's distribution. I prefer Maxwell's.
Expected something more considered from you Fess. His constant passing to defenders ended them to press and really put us under pressure. Maxwell can quickly bowl a ball out to the wingers to get a move going. That's as maybe but Grimshaw is the better keeper so for me that's irrelevant.
Sorry to disappoint 66 bit hot and bothered tonight ( and grumpy) after the game.Expected something more considered from you Fess. His constant passing to defenders ended them to press and really put us under pressure. Maxwell can quickly bowl a ball out to the wingers to get a move going.
That said, he is the better keeper.
It's a fair point - but I reckon Grimmys shot stopping is way (way) ahead - and Maxwell just hoofed it out of the box, which is sometimes the best thing to do. It's Grimmy for me - but all opinions valid. Not bothering to start a thread on it but I do not like Grimshaw's distribution. I prefer Maxwell's.
Superior? F*ck off! 2-1 last season, how could you say that they are superior? Unless you are a Preston Knob End fan of course. For me it's obvious after seeing this shambles at Gloomfield.....while PNE win at Luton.....its time for us all to admit that the Nobbers are, and always have been superior .....
Agree! But I always feel that Maxwell has got that mistake in him.Not bothering to start a thread on it but I do not like Grimshaw's distribution. I prefer Maxwell's.
we need points too - tossing them away to a relegation rival is simply wasteful and we see you into lge 1We played well today, all you negative wankers need to bore off.
Just the distribution. In general I'm with Grimshaw. It's a fair point - but I reckon Grimmys shot stopping is way (way) ahead - and Maxwell just hoofed it out of the box, which is sometimes the best thing to do. It's Grimmy for me - but all opinions valid.
,,,and to put him down like some do is equally laughable.Last season too Phil.
Even a blind squirrel finds the odd nut(Bournemouth home, Stoke away)
TBF if he had a final ball he wouldn't be here but to big him up like some do is laughable.
There are a lot moaning some valid but mostly over reaction. We played well today, all you negative wankers need to bore off.
Yeh sorry we now not allowed to criticise someone who excites us but has very little end product,,,and to put him down like some do is equally laughable.
Just over 11k - can’t remember the exact figureAny idea why yours is the only attendance not given anywhere? Not on bbc /sky etc
no need to apologise. But of you think one end of the spectrum is laughable then the other end is equally so. And let's face it, he's one our players, our most saleable asset so what would you rather be? A fan of one our players or a critic.Yeh sorry we now not allowed to criticise someone who excites us but has very little end product
The way he played today, a criticno need to apologise. But of you think one end of the spectrum is laughable then the other end is equally so. And let's face it, he's one our players, our most saleable asset so what would you rather be? A fan of one our players or a critic.
Good of you to go hunting for it for us. I'd dont think I'd do the same on your forum! In fact I've never visited your forum!Any idea why yours is the only attendance not given anywhere? Not on bbc /sky etc
and i've been critical of him today on more than one thread. But of course you deflect. You say in your reply that today you are being a critic and that's fair enough. But if we are talking about todays game where are all these posts bigging him up which you say is laughable? Pretty much everyone has criticised him for todays performance. The way he played today, a critic
All he needs is a final ball, either a pass or decent shot on target.
He'll then gets the move he so desperately wants and we'll hopefully obtain enough funds to strengthen the team.
Just found it odd that from all the games today it’s the only one not showingGood of you to go hunting for it for us. I'd dont think I'd do the same on your forum! In fact I've never visited your forum!
If I had even the remotest bit of interest in PKE, I would!Just found it odd that from all the games today it’s the only one not showing

Enjoyed that Matt, you put a different perspective on things when the dust settles.Life turns on small things: the Mighty vs Swansea City
Sometimes I love writing this blog. Not just when we've won and I'm all fizzing with expletives and metaphors for how good we are but also s...mclfoot.blogspot.com
The 1st half was ** dire, the 2nd half we were much improvedI thought we were okay first half tbh
Still had chances thoughThe 1st half was ** dire, the 2nd half we were much improved

Sun perhaps ? No idea but maybe that was a factor. Was there a tactical reason why we chose to play towards the north in the first half ?
don't know but did we even win the toss? It might not have been our choice to make. Was there a tactical reason why we chose to play towards the north in the first half ?

Appleton said in his presser last week 'we have to show Swansea respect because of the way they play' .. and sadly that's exactly what we did.First half was pretty appalling. If we’d have gone in 3-0 down at half time we could have no complaints. It was like watching a training game. Swansea had as much time as they liked to knock it about and find a pass. Fortunately the passing and finishing from Swansea wasn’t good enough to get a goal. The boos at half time were perfectly justified.
Grimmy was in the shade in the first half. That's about all I could see that was different.Swansea kicked off first half so we must of decided on the changed ends ?
Seemed odd decision given that we hardly attacked much in the first half. Unless some “weather” related decision - shadow lengths / suns position ?
