he does but passing isn't one of them, and he needs to learn that very quickly.Theo also has his merits. We need to back every man in a tangerine shirt this season. It really does make a difference.
Please edit your post to includeJerry I love you.
I know it's not Greek but it's not too late to change her name to 'Miss Jerri'?A beautiful baby girl and 4 points to the Pool. It’s turning out to be a pretty good week.
Doesn’t get much better than that! Congrats.A beautiful baby girl and 4 points to the Pool. It’s turning out to be a pretty good week.
Sounded like he could only do 45 mins so Appleton had to pick one and chose right. Hopefully come through it the same as everyone else, and it isn't a long lay off for Madine with whatever stopped his game suddenly.Looked more secure with Bridcutt there. Think he might be just what we've needed.
Congrats manA beautiful baby girl and 4 points to the Pool. It’s turning out to be a pretty good week.
thorniley was epic, marv was at his thou shalt not pass best, connolly at right back might have had a better game than Gabriel has had there this season, up and down the flank, good crosses, beaten by pace a couple of times but quickly recovers, and consistently made his presence felt. Bridcutt took a while to get going but once he did was very good. Patino second half outstanding, Wright a quieter game i thought today but worked his arse off and played some controlled football when he could. Lavery through the middle gave their defence a different thing to think about, after Madine if it hadnt been for their keeper might have had a hat-trick. CJ when he does what hes good at is very good. he has pace and he has an accurate cross on him,Wow, it doesn't get much better than that. Yates with shades of Owen Dale, Thorniley and Marv a brick wall, Connelly and Thompson excellent, Wright and Patino came into the game and took over the midfield and what about CJ Hamilton! 'kin ell, on cloud 9!
i said at half time watford looked suspect at the back, which bothered me when we went very deep for a chunky period of the second half. The stadium sounded amazing again over ttvFantastic three points. The subs changed the game so again Apps is showing once again how much better he is in terms of in game management than Quitchley. I've been a big critic of CJ but he did really well today. Having said that the defending from the Watford 27 was absolutely appalling. He basically gave up but well done to CJ for spotting it and providing a great cross for Jerry. All in all a massive three points and a lot to take out of the game. CJ needed that confidence boost and two of our strikers bagging three will hopefully now start to show more consistency in front of goal. And last but not least the north stand back in full voice...
It's very odd when people have an agenda against their own club, it was weird under Critchley and its weird under Appleton.Slightly off topic, but I've just scrolled through the entire thread and it's very noticeable how the negative posters (critical of players across the pitch and never constructive) disappeared in the second half when we were the better side.
Just saying.
Weeks don’t get much better, stick Geraldine on the name listA beautiful baby girl and 4 points to the Pool. It’s turning out to be a pretty good week.
Yeah he's a confidence player. When he's confident he's a real problem for opposition defenders. Buzzing for himA confident Jerry Yates is something to behold, I don't think he'd have pulled off that 2nd goal so easily if he hadn't gotten the 1st. Hopefully he hits his stride now.
Cheers pal!Congrats man
It looked like his groin againSounded like he could only do 45 mins so Appleton had to pick one and chose right. Hopefully come through it the same as everyone else, and it isn't a long lay off for Madine with whatever stopped his game suddenly.
We decided on Faith for various reasons and it’s certainly needed if you’re a family of Pool fans!I know it's not Greek but it's not too late to change her name to 'Miss Jerri'?
Her birth brought good fortune on our team - God bless her
All the best Hertford, things must be tough at the moment, so I hope the result gave you a smile or two.Just got home, having to sort my mum's house out at the moment as she is living in a nursing home now and very poorly so missed the game. Absolutely over the moon and gutted I missed it.
I will watch it back when it is on the BFC website. Well done Pool and well done MA!
And yet, when one move didn't come off for Gaz in the second half a bloke behind me shouted "get him off he's shit."Maxwell 8 nobody saving that
Connolly 8 impacted both ends of Pitch
Marv 8 Big performance as per
Thorniley 9 best performance in tangerine
Thompson 7 grew into the game
Wright 7.5 covered miles of ground
Carey 6 Not quite coming off for him yet
Patino 8 a legend is born
Corbeanu 6.5 not quite at it
Yates 9.5 World Class all over pitch MOM
Madine 9 the Goal Machine at his best
Lavery 7 Added to the press
CJ 7.5 game changer of a run and cross
Bridcutt 7 a little rusty but solidified the midfield
I’m a huge Grimmy fan and he will be Blackpools No1 for as many years as he wants to, but at this moment we needed Maxwells experience and he has played top drawer so far. That free kick couldn’t of got any nearer to the top corner I don’t see anyone saving itA couple of thoughts on their goal. Suprised Maxwell only had three in the wall for a free-kick on the edge of the box! Obviously he thought he could cover the ground in time. So, the responsibility falls on him for the goal in my view. I reckon Grimshaw would definitely have saved that and I cannot believe he is not starting at the moment. Maxwell does not inspire confidence in the defence. He is very slow off his line, is rubbish on crosses and his distribution is nowhere near as good as Grimshaw's. But what do I know....
It was Bridcut shoring up the defensive midfield that allowed Patino to move upfield, where he was more effective.thorniley was epic, marv was at his thou shalt not pass best, connolly at right back might have had a better game than Gabriel has had there this season, up and down the flank, good crosses, beaten by pace a couple of times but quickly recovers, and consistently made his presence felt. stuck in Barbados
How did Bridcutt compare to Dougall and Connolly in that position? It was Bridcut shoring up the defensive midfield that allowed Patino to move upfield, where he was more effective.
Too early to say but once he grew into the game he was effective. How did Bridcutt compare to Dougall and Connolly in that position?
Dougall will struggle to get back in the starting XI after today.
Faith Geraldine Graves got a good ring to itWe decided on Faith for various reasons and it’s certainly needed if you’re a family of Pool fans!
Struggling on, you know how it isI'm sorry you are stuck in Barbados, what an absolute bastard! Life is tough I hope you are coping okay?
