Time to get Grant Ward signed as can play as a right back or midfield with the current injuries and suspension surely worth a contract till the end of the season, scored for the reserves the other day.

And gives a little cover on the bench.
 
Assuming we have the same players available I'd go same again but replace lav/Yates with Poveda and Corbs.

Oh forgot Dougall is out, you know Grant Ward wouldn't be a bad shout if we had him available to step in. Bridcutt if he's up for it.
 
Can u buy tickets on the day. Flew in from NZ so no history. Family in blackpool so have there address etc.

I've bought a ticket on the eticketing site today, £30 plus £2 booking fee, and I didn't need to buy a membership. All very straightforward.

It's the first ticket I've bought in years and the site didn't recognise my email address so I had to set up a new account. As there's no time for the ticket to be delivered I went for a print at home and I've been told I can use my mobile to scan it at the turnstile.
 
Need to play like we did in patches last Saturday and in 2nd half on Tuesday for 90+ minutes. I’m confident we have it in us IF Apples picks an attacking line up.

If Ian and Theo run at pace, can you actually see Gary being anywhere near the penalty box?

Yates has to start in the middle for the reason you give. Lavery and Madine are last 15 minute players, shouldn't be starting. Yates is the only centre forward we have worthy of a place from the outset. We need Patino and Wright playing a bit closer to him putting through the sort of passes that will bring the best out of the front 3.

Agree, Jerry has shown recently what a v good footballer he is. With those 3 close together chances and goals will come. Lavery can do a ratter job later on running down tired defenders and chasing lost causes.

Agreed. He's got pace and some skill, therefore he should be scoring more. Why isn't he? Probably due to not being played regularly in the middle and needing service from good wide men (Corbeanu & Poveda).
 
Interesting that he's gone for Carey rather than Bridcutt, attacking intent shown for sure, we look a little light on the bench defensively if we get any injuries but it looks like we're going to give it a go!
 
I worry about the balance of that midfield but you can’t say we’re not having a go!
 
Looks a good line up. Hope Carey gets into the game. The midfield understandably maybe looks short of scrappers. We'll need to put them right on the back foot. Come on you Pool 👍

Score a goal and then think we can just sit back in for 80 minutes to hold out. Absolutely no chance. You can not just let championship players have all of the ball. They will punish you.

Absolutely been coming that!
