Burnley Tickets

If people don’t want to go or can’t afford to go to away matches it’s their choice, but we will sell our allocation to Burnley. My only gripe with the club and l raised this with SLO (who said he was going to discuss with the club, but still not heard anything), is that they should have put in place by now an advertising campaign to get fans off the road and onto coaches from Bloomfield Road given the cost of fuel now and the environment. Doing this could offset the cost of the away match tickets by reduced travel costs and therefore making it more attractive. At best the club put one coach on and sometimes not at all like Coventry away last season which was a night match in appalling travel conditions which put many off.
It's a fair point. Cods ST holders get away coaches for £5. Obviously, they have fewer takers but their away support has increased because of it.

It'll be embarrassing if we can't sell 2000, I can guarantee you we'll be the only Lancashire club that doesn't fill the away end at Burnley.Fuck me we used to take 5-6000 when we were in the 4th division and only getting home crowds of 3000!
I get the tickets are a bit more expensive but it's only 1 pint less at the game Get a 4 pack and smash it before you go in.
Well it's 2,354 tickets and we got them very late.

I think we’ll sell them just we have staggered the release again which at least means we wouldn't miss out should there be demand, as people would kick off then.

We also have to remember 30 quid is not an attractive price, it puts people off. Its not our fault our club charges 29 and so we get hit with a similar price.

But 30 for people in Blackpool is far too high, many have said it.

Especially in a cost of living crisis which the poorest areas feel the most first.

Not sure why they aren't just clearing them with general sale now as everyone who wants to go has had their chance.

They are on general sale now

Few things to consider:
- Rail strikes
- Lateness we received tickets
- £30 tickets
- They've been staged from two year season ticket holders with so many away games down to general sale

Got my ticket and looking forward to it, be some day out if we manage to beat Burnley on their return from the Prem. I have never seen us win a derby game away by the way so my attendance is almost certainly the kiss of death!

Looks like we will sell out then. Fuck me we don't half make some shite excuses. You'd think there were no motorways and we were the only town in England with poor people. Although I don't agree with the ticket prices, it's local so the money you save on travel will cover it.

I blame the club just put them on general sale to ST holders all this ** about with teared away games is nonsense.
First come first served creates a buzz and a rush to get your tickets this is a painful way of doing things.
They haven't learnt since the Nobbers game.

Should just do season ticket holders then general sale i mean its not like any fcuker bought a membership anyway

I suppose in defence of the club they only got the tickets a week out

Unfortunately when the allocation is so low and the tickets arrive so late in the day, most people write off the possibility of being able to get a ticket and make other arrangements.

That's my situation didn't think it would get to general sale so made other plans.

Third coach laid on by club @ £15 per seat is now sold out... I got the last seat 15 minutes ago... That is according to the chap who sold me it over the counter anyway...

Even so, struggling to shift 2300 is poor given the good win midweek, the fact we haven't played them in so long and being one of our main rivals.
Yeah i agree only the club to blame nobody else

Too late for general sale and daft history purchase schedule thing

£30 as well

All down to our board obviously dont give a fcuk about the fans

I’ve heard we’ve sold them all now, but we should never get in this situation again having being given only 1 week to buy tickets and arrange transport!
Well gone from the site now.

Poor from Burnley to give with 1 week to go, why can't a club send some tickets on time?

It meant by the time we got down to st holders and then members posting them out was not possible, so any exiles who go away would have had to go to the Blackpool to pick them up.

Plus all the other issues, shit all round.

Burnley have parachute payments, it's easy to discount when you're guaranteed £30m plus.
They offer 2,500 we'll probably offer 3/4000. Thats a lot of money for us.

The other factor is peak season in a holiday town. A lot will be working Saturdays.

Gone from the site because it’s past the deadline of 4 pm.
Just hope we have sold out!
