Burnley Tickets

When I last checked earlier this afternoon it had one area left and let you put 10 in.

But that was a while ago.

Someone above said it was sold out.
I checked about 3 and was only able to add 1 ticket to my basket, I wasn't sure if they were limited to one per person or if there was only 1 left.

Oh and another thing, by checking this and adding tickets to your basket it actually reserves those ticket for 15 minutes in your basket, preventing someone else from buying them.

I went up to ten as thats the max and the area was still available at that time.

I don't think it reserves any as I didn't then go any further and add them in.

Either way looks like they went.

2000 plus fans is good.

Burnley only took just over 2k to Huddersfield on the first weekend..

Likely to be in top few away followings in the championship tomorrow, looked at the top away attendances and not many getting over massive numbers with exceptions of Sunderland who seem well supported where ever they play.

With all the current circumstances at the moment a great following, lets be loud proud and back the team. The following at Stoke and QPR sounded like a few thousand, so tomorrow we will be sounding like 10k.

Infamy, infamy, they've all got it in for me.

Some of them are some of the thickest guys around, fresh from believing we had a 6k attendance the last home game.. they're still adamant we didn't sell out in the derby match...

We were just being dickheads apparently, how I don't know, we must have some influence over the police I guess.

Yes segregation was ridiculous buy hardly the fault of fans, all available tickets were sold.

And we've only been given 2300 at Turf and they've all gone.
Also as mentioned they did go slower than expected, but we only got them a week ago and went through a staggered sale, meaning by the time it got to all ST holders and members, posting was not possible. Many factors but really not helpful from Burnley.

The League rules say tickets should be available 4 weeks in advance. This season so far, the away games have been on sale barely a week before. QPR was the same but didn't get the fanfare as not many were going.

I honestly don't get why the clubs seem to just do what the fuck they want with tickets when there's clear rules to follow.

I guess there might be a good comparison coming up soon, similar amount of tickets for Huddersfield which is further away, less attractive a game, worse day for many, although it is cheaper.

Let's see how those sales go with more time, it'll be interesting as some of the issues here won't be present....

See how much notice we get.

Last season we sold Stoke tickets for 4 weeks and took 2,600. With 10 days sale, we shifted 1600 this time round.

It's not as if its difficult for a club to know in 1 month we play x team, print the tickets off and send them.

Infact it's completely ridiculous a club can't do it each time on time. It's very simple.

Exactly. I know who were playing all the way through to May.

Well Huddersfield the announcement was today, on sale Monday, so just under 2 weeks.

But it's enough time to go through the categories and not be too rushed, still would have been better for the 4 weeks, but they did have a date change.

Are all away games now ticket in advance,. No pay on the day at all?

Obviously derbies etc different.

I used to sometimes randomly decide to go on the day to Tuesday night game at Brighton, Luton on a Saturday or Tranmere on a Friday night. .

I went to Huddersfield on Boxing Day or New Year's Day and that was pay on the day.

Does away with this.mist get tickets and the having to get down to Bloomfield Road to collect or rely on the post or teams.sending tickets over.

Pay on the day tomorrow, I reckon another 1k could turn up.

I think it’s pretty obvious why the tickets are released late. Our support is boisterous shall we say. If the tickets are released last minute and staggered, there’s less time for certain groups to plan. The demographic will be different in releasing the tickets late on. It will be an easier to control away support with less likelihood of aggro.

Did the last 100 tickets go or have we not sold out for Burnley? Not seen any update...
It looks like they have all sold
They should have just gone on sale to all season ticket holders straight away. Doing it the way they did is alright if you have a few weeks to sell them. It's all been last minute, whether that's down to them not being able to agree a ticket price or not I don't know.

What a ridiculous post

Someone needs to let Huddersfield know then. Two weeks notice and £20 a head.

It’ll be like WW3 🤪

Haha! Might have known you’d pop up. Enlighten me then as to why tickets are released a week before and then restricted sales to almost the day before. I’m all ears. Muppet!!
I've no idea why they are released so late they certainly shouldn't be according to EFL rules, then go on sale to season ticket holders as they are supposed to be the most loyal fans so have priority, its got fcuk all to do with any rowdy behaviour you fcuking whopper

Well I know for fact that this is the reason. I’m not compromising the position of my source. Put it this way, if it was Peterborough away they wouldn’t be released a week before. Have a cuddle as it looks like you need one.

I hope you are still pissed from last night cos no sober person would write that rubbish 😯

Don't you worry little Jonny the atmosphere today will be loud and rowdy even though the tickets were released late

Don't talk bollocks only those attending today are ST holders who are the least likely to cause trouble if you do can kiss the goodbye to getting in BR the rest of the season and 350 quid down the toilet.

I don't get how slowing the release and sales down will affect whos going.

All the usual people will be there as they fall in the earlier categories, plus it went to the last category, this will be a very vociferous crowd.

Loads trying to get tickets today, these ticket arrangements have been a shambles.
A bit late I know, but we are in Burnley now with a couple of adult and one senior spare.

It seems they were released late as they have a new ticket office manager who perhaps is a little inexperienced (to be polite)

Great following today and every away game for the Pool, a bit of a shambles when arrived with with seating and was stood on a stair way for the first half and was pretty dangerous the way the police or stewards weren't bothered.of the dangers.

Also put the 2 smallest female coppers in the world on the stair case of the stadium, how does that help the crowd control?
