Cardiff v Blackpool Official Matchday Thread 19.02.22

Need to see how fringe players perform
Kirk and James need to show they are up for it. Connolly looks like he has moved from a fringe player to a regular in recent weeks

No Kenny Dougall or Jake Beesley in the squad. Maxwell, Keogh, Garbutt, Husband, Virtue, Ward, Carey and Anderson still out injured. Ryan Wintle starts for Cardiff.

Still quite an injury list, at least 4 of those would probably start, Keogh, Husband, Carey and Anderson.

Yeah I'd have probably started with Gabriel at right back and Sterling left back, that's worked ok for us recently. I'd probably have started CJ, if fit, and Lavery.
But what the hell do I know? In critch we trust.
3:1 to The Mighty.

It's all about balance over 3 games in a week. With the mileage Pool cover it's sensible not least to ensure we don't over stretch anyone.

Come on you pool!!!!

Looking forward to watching replay, his last goal was also a strikers finish if memory is right.

Great that we are playing in tangerine strip, weird how sides seem to play in their second kit even when there's no colour clash. Guess they want people to get value out of owning an away shirt.
