Yes he's a useful team member along with Maxwell. He's used his pace to help defend recently too, in fact he can quite easily keep up or catch up players and put tackles in or block them.

He simply is not Championship class and is very easy to defend against. Most teams with decent full backs find him easy to defend against.Low end/league one? He's proving that he's not that already, he terrifies championship defences and when he's played on his best side and given the right ball not many can stop him.
No one wins a game all on his own but he played a key role in those games.
If he could do it all the time he wouldn't be with us. His touch can let him down at times, but a lot of that was when he was coming back from injury and wary of it, not at his best, it's been better before his injury and recently.
We just have to use him right, plus the more he plays the more consistent he can be.
Hes scored some good goals for us over the years and set many up. A decent asset to have.

He is when he's at it, he's proven he can hurt teams. He simply is not Championship class and is very easy to defend against. Most teams with decent full backs find him easy to defend against.
Hasn’t he? Sorry I must be watching something else.To be fair he ripped apart a young lad who's only played for Chelmsford and Oxford City before Saturday when he made his QPR debut, so he should be playing well.... they switched full backs and he's done nothing since.
Him and Andy Lyons can scrap for it. 3 points in the bag is all that mattersMan of the match for me tonight. Simply brilliant
CJ almost disappeared after they moved that young lad but CJ did well prior to that.Hasn’t he? Sorry I must be watching something else.
It was his assist for he sixth goal and his tenacity that got the ball to Rogers when he hit the inside of the postHe

It was a perfectly weighted chest down!!It hit his arm and landed in front of KD
Some people can’t bear to be wrong. CJ has been excellentHasn’t he? Sorry I must be watching something else.
One Swallow doesn't make a summer and he now has to do that regularly and not once every two seasons. Some people can’t bear to be wrong. CJ has been excellent
Hole is getting deeper lad. Keep digging. One Swallow doesn't make a summer and he now has to do that regularly and not once every two seasons.
I have already acknowledged he did ok but to say he got an assist when the bounced off his arm is stretching it a bit.
I like being proven wrong and if he can replicate that then great for him and the team.
Listen I love being proven wrong but and it's a big but, can he do that again?Hole is getting deeper lad. Keep digging.
I agree he needs to keep it up be personally I think he has improved hugely this season and his pace is a weapon nobody else in the team provides. One Swallow doesn't make a summer and he now has to do that regularly and not once every two seasons.

Playing players who aren’t good enough for this level is why we are struggling to stay here. Last night is close to the standard of what and where you need to be.I agree he needs to keep it up be personally I think he has improved hugely this season and his pace is a weapon nobody else in the team provides.
3 more assists last night than Bowler has made all season. What more does this guy have to do to win the fans over? He’s an unplayable when played in his proper position and his goal today was sublime.
I wish the haters would get off this guys back and give him a boost in confidence cause by now we all know what he’s capable of!
Keep it up CJ!
hes naturally left footed but has a decent right peg as wellHe's right footed but with Josh coming back who's left footed and plays on the right we're getting back to how Critch played them.
I agree to some extent but that in my opinion was not the only performance from CJ that impressed me this season. He does need to be more consistent but he terrorises defenders with his pace and has done so as a sub a couple of times.Playing players who aren’t good enough for this level is why we are struggling to stay here. Last night is close to the standard of what and where you need to be.
He has been a 4 or 5 out of 10 in the majority of his performances this season. Last night he was excellent.
He’s got to produce, it’s his job but he’s limited and Blackpool fans love limited players. Hence why they loved Turton. Even though I was screaming out for an upgrade like Gabriel and Lyon’s because similar to CJ, there are far better footballers required to be at this level.
Kurt, I didn't say anything after the performance the other night as most people wouldn't believe me.Surely CJ isn’t getting away with that utter dogshit performance? Criminal. You can’t play like you did on Tuesday and then have 9 off games.
Came up against an experienced and decent right back and was sat in his pocket all ** game.
Dougall and CJ were ** shite today.
words that come back to haunt you. awful today only surpassed by Dougall. No doubters at all about how bad he was today. One swallow does not a summer make! Kurt is spot on. CJ producing the odd good ten minutes just isn't acceptable at championship level.CJ continues to prove the doubters wrong, played brilliantly last night and was a major factor in the victory
Sadly I have to agree with you.words that come back to haunt you. awful today only surpassed by Dougall. No doubters at all about how bad he was today. One swallow does not a summer make! Kurt is spot on. CJ producing the odd good ten minutes just isn't acceptable at championship level.
Connolly was horrendous on the ball today.Sadly I have to agree with you.
I'll add Captain Callum to that list.
Haunt me?words that come back to haunt you. awful today only surpassed by Dougall. No doubters at all about how bad he was today. One swallow does not a summer make! Kurt is spot on. CJ producing the odd good ten minutes just isn't acceptable at championship level.
he's targeted because he's shiite. It's nonsense to say he's been performing for while. You carry on remembering his good ten minutes every ten games or so if you want but most of us will remember his inabilty to trap a ball. And his crosses that are more of a danger to the the person it hits in the crowd than any defence on the pitch. A point I've been making pretty much since he first joined us.Haunt me?
CJ unfairly singled out and targeted by his haters, he has been performing for a while. Who was good today?
We will have to agree to differ, 3 assists the other night a right good ten minutes.he's targeted because he's shiite. It's nonsense to say he's been performing for while. Three more than Bowler all season, but apparently he is a mustWe will have to agree to differ, 3 assists the other night a right good ten minutes.
I dare you to watch him in isolation in the QPR game on TT/V and he was dog shit after the first 20 minutes or so.Haunt me?
CJ unfairly singled out and targeted by his haters, he has been performing for a while. Who was good today?
3 assists in a single championship game is not dog shit.I dare you to watch him in isolation in the QPR game on TT/V and he was dog shit after the first 20 minutes or so.
It is not about hating him it's about him not being a football player in 90% of the games he plays.
Also, a half-hearted challenge that lead to their goal and did the sum total of nothing until the next game.3 assists in a single championship game is not dog shit.
Have you got the address for his fan club? Also, a half-heated challenge that lead to their goal and did the sum total of nothing until the next game.
Where he missed a sitter was to blame in the build-up to their second goal with an embarrassing attempt at a tackle and was dog shit for 90 minutes or however long he played.
That’s got to be you trying to get a bite from 20s. In isolation he isn’t good enough. Bowler isn’t motivated or being played properly in his position. There’s the difference.Three more than Bowler all season, but apparently he is a must
