CJ Hamilton

That’s got to be you trying to get a bite from 20s. In isolation he isn’t good enough. Bowler isn’t motivated or being played properly in his position. There’s the difference.

I’d argue actually that we need better if we get relegated too.
Bowler was transferred to a PL club for 4 million. CJ ain't going anywhere else but L1. If Wiz thinks CJ is the better player then that's their prerogative of course. It's not for me to comment that those actually involved in the professional game opinions aren't as sound as Wiz's. Ooops, I just said it.

Talk me through Bowler's input to our survival. A last minute goal that won us a point.

You had a pop previously about me referring to previous form. I refer you to Bowler. He's not the player he was before he left.

Meanwhile, the manager, who sees them day in, day out, picks CJ. I suggest the former international manager with over a 1000 games at the top level knows more than even you, who knows everything.

Oops, I just said it.

I hope CJ plays against the nobbers coz he tore them apart at our place!
What about the other 44 games this season? When did 2 good games (15 minutes in both, didn't actually play very well against QPR on the whole 90) make a player? He is absolutely atrocious and the blind obsession our fans have with him is exactly why we are where we are. Shit players. At Championship level is why we are getting relegated.

Spent more time in our half because of shit tactics and 🦖 even played him out of position to make an example of him.
If he had played the last two games when DinoBall has almost been abandoned you could rightly judge him.....

Cj is gash, his control is shocking, his touch is shocking, he’s good at running, plays well maybe 2 games in 10 but hey, he’s a championship footballer 🤷‍♂️

The blind obsession is mostly anti CJ from what I can see. He also tore qpr apart and tied the defender up in knots, so much so that they had to switch him but you are clearly blind to that. Shame you feel the need to be such a dick towards your own players.

Yes, an academy player and what did CJ achieve after that change and the game after that??

A. The sum total of Jack Shit Mrs Hamilton.

frankly laughable. That's the dinosaur that is Mick McCarthy who sets the team up to keep clean sheets but doesn't seem to be able to do it regularly enough. Bowler sold for four million because he was worth that even with just a year left on his contract. Where were the offers for Hamilton. Just because a dinosaur prefers CJ doesn't make him right. So then let's look at what you've said. So you think McCarthy is a great manager because he picks CJ over Bowler, and his style of football will get us the points to keep us in the Championship. Why do you think he's not the player before he left? Is it because McCarthy in his 1000 game wisdom thought Bowler was a central midfield player? You're ** deluded if you back that decision. Ooops, you're deluded, I just said it.

I don't know everything but when it comes to Bowler and CJ I know a damn sight more than you. As do pretty much the vast majority of our fans. And my opinion is just as valid as yours so what the fuck has that got to do with knowing everything?

A large part of our success last season was a result of having Bowler on one side, and Keshi on the other. Both significantly better than CJ with the ball at their feet, which is what you need in the championship.
CJ does have his qualities, and can be effective against certain opposition and in certain situations. He was great against PNE and QPR. But against the better sides he's found wanting, whereas Keshi and Bowler at their best can still do it against the better sides, and that's the difference.

It makes a difference if a player has a run of games. CJ has had that. Bowler hasn’t. Bowker is clearly a far better player than CJ and should be starting, end of. A good manager would also put his arm around Poveda and get him firing and in the team.

It’s not even debatable. The only thing CJ is better than Bowler at is catching the ball on the pitch.

Laughable to suggest he’s a better option, it’s all about Wiz trying to give support to McCarthy who has been found wanting tactically in numerous games and unable to make positive substitutions, as it would involve changing shape or changing to attacking formations. The fact he’s been unable to create a system to get the best out of a 4 million pound player sums up his managerial and tactical prowess, which is very very low.

He played Bowler central midfield ffs away at Middlesbrough. This the guy who was shoring us up and making us hard to beat. Clueless.

Are you that blinded that you can't see that Bowler hasn't been played correctly by McCarthy

Nice spat going on here
I will add my twopenneth
CJ nice guy similar to Delfonso and probably a little more dangerous as he can cross a ball, but if we release him he will end up L1 at best.
Bowler when on fire is electric and scares the hell out of defenders. He is however as many are a confidence player, and since he left us in September his confidence in Greece and back here has taken a good kicking. The upside is Forest will look to get rid, do not know how long his contract was and I know the amount they are currently paying him is way outside our levels, but maybe end of next season a deal could be done, obviously for a fraction of transfer fee and wage, and I would have him back in a heartbeat.
As to his defensive capabilities, they are crap, but leave him on the half way line and let the opposition worry about him.

If this is a Bowler v CJ argument then the former wins every time for me as he is our best talent by miles when played in his correct position. CJ is very useful though at the right times. Surely every professional manager cannot be wrong!

Grow the fuck up. I'm not standing outside of his house.

CJ and his lack of ability, consistency is why we're in this ** mess.

I think CJ is your classic mid-league players who struggles to get a really decent run of form together.
As a manager he must be a nightmare because you know he has it in him but he rarely shows it consistantly.

You know what, I don't think CJ does have it in him because he is far too limited. Pace apart he is a Sunday league player at best. I've played with far far superior wingers than him.
Given he does have his pace though he should be used in last 10, 20 mins to use his pace and hit teams on the break. He offers very little else.
