Club Statement 19/20 season

It’s good they’ve given us options, rather than one size fits all. The donations to good causes are good too.

I think a slight discount on next season is fair, and most will probably take that.
 
Its option 1 for me but it's important to note that everyone is different and there should be no unwarranted abuse for anyone who decides to take the refund. Some people struggle to buy a season ticket at all, and to attend on a match day.
Overall, pretty happy with that statement.
 
Happy with the options, although I think the money should be held on account when no contact is made unless they plan to post that info out. To reduce postage costs id wait until 20/21 details are know and then include as a footnote.

I get your point, but its money that's already been spent, so giving it to the club wont actually cause any financial hardship.

I think people might object to the ‘by default, we keep your money’ idea. I can understand it, but myslight concern is that not everyone sees the website.Hopefully they’ll be communicating it in other ways, but there’s every chance someone misses the message and gets upset. Hopefully they’ll be sure to chase anyone who hasn’t responded so we don’t get a ‘the club stole my money’ story in the Gasjet come August
 
Will probably get it knocked off next seasons season ticket, was unsure what to do about next season due to the travelling, but id still like to get one, as met some decent guys stood next to us, and the guy I travel up with us moving back to Blackpool, so it will be a good excuse to visit more. Added to the fact the new management team is an exciting one.

If you don't have an email in 2020 then you probably struggle with almost everything. You probably want to get them to get an email address.

It's 2020 now, no excuse for lack of "technical understanding"
 
A faultless update from the club, all circumstances are covered. The default option is fine also, I guess those without email addresses will be contacted directly, most likely those who do need the refund will have been in contact with the club already. Whatever position you are in, we should all be very proud of the changes happening at Bloomfield Road.
 
Think option 2 & 3 are great options. Not costing the club any money, gets people in the ground (who may return) and people will most likely buy refreshments etc.
 
I'll take the lazy option of not replying. 😆

Another option might have been to offer free home tickets to next season's first five cup games. It would boost attendance as not everyone goes to them normally.
 
Some excellent choices there and after due consideration it will be option 1 for me.

I feel for those when cant, due to monetry restraints, do as I am, but they should feel no shame in asking for a refund.

Or they could just as easily presume you want your money back, not everyone is in the situation where they can afford to let the club keep the money in what is a very deprived area. Doesn't affect me as not a ST holder but prefer to see both sides.
 
Option 1 for me and Mrs 1967. However I agree with the sentiment that there is no blame/shame here whichever option you go for.
 
Undecided between 1 and 4. Was going to gift but personally I was disappointed the club chose to vote to end the season.

And yes in response to your question, or finish starting in September. Seemingly no desire, well none that was communicated. Then again there was no communication full stop.
