Everton deducted 10 points
Everton have been deducted 10 points for a breach of profit and sustainability rules.

4 points off safety 20'sjust seen it. Puts them joint bottom but only one point off safety. About time they went down but they'll still probably get out of it. Three poor teams down there.
Remember Boro getting docked points for failing to fulfil a fixture against Blackburn which ultimately relegated themStill think they’ll stay up, the other teams at the bottom this season are poor. When was the last time a prem team was deducted points? Genuinely can’t remember
That'd still put them above us, plus Brum would benefit if it didn't.Can it be done retrospectively back to 2010/11?
2 pts4 points off safety 20's
Dingles and Everton on 4
Next team on 5
4th bottom 9
yep 2 pts. Everton only have to overtake the third bottom.4 points off safety 20's

No chance will Man City be found guilty. Its an interesting move by the Premier League. Given Everton approached the Prem first and offered to work with them instead of waiting to be caught out.
Even more interesting will be what Man City may get punished if they get found guilty of any more than 1 of their 115 charges.
Certainly seems a bit of a politics involved in this to try and avoid a football regulator being appointed.
I think they might do. Purely because the Premier League doesn't want an independent regulator and so will want to show the government that they can police themselves. No chance will Man City be found guilty.
The only suitable punishment for City would be liquidation. Made a mockery of the gamejust one observation. Seems they found it easy to pin a charge on Everton. Seemingly the likes of City and Chelsea have better accountants and lawyers.
If that’s the case, then Chelsea, Man Utd, Newcastle, PSG, Real Madrid, Barcelona and many more might as well be liquidated. The only suitable punishment for City would be liquidation. Made a mockery of the game
My mistake read the table wrongyep 2 pts. Everton only have to overtake the third bottom.
This, this and this again And I'll add Chelsea into this as well, more dodgy stuff came out yesterdayjust one observation. Seems they found it easy to pin a charge on Everton. Seemingly the likes of City and Chelsea have better accountants and lawyers.
Fine with me.If that’s the case, then Chelsea, Man Utd, Newcastle, PSG, Real Madrid, Barcelona and many more might as well be liquidated.
Portsmouth got deducted 9 pts in March 2010 for entering administration which sent them downStill think they’ll stay up, the other teams at the bottom this season are poor. When was the last time a prem team was deducted points? Genuinely can’t remember
Best season ever to get a 10 point deduction. Luton Sheffield United and Burnley are all terrible.just seen it. Puts them joint bottom but only one point off safety. About time they went down but they'll still probably get out of it. Three poor teams down there.
Knowing the PL City will get a 10-point addition and an apology for the inconvenience. No chance will Man City be found guilty.
20s , it's about losses ( financial, obviously) over 3 consecutive years. I don't know the figures for City and Chelsea.just one observation. Seems they found it easy to pin a charge on Everton. Seemingly the likes of City and Chelsea have better accountants and lawyers.
They’re all better than we areBest season ever to get a 10 point deduction. Luton Sheffield United and Burnley are all terrible.
Yeah weird. Simon Jordan explained it this morning by saying Everton’s case was more binary than City’sjust one observation. Seems they found it easy to pin a charge on Everton. Seemingly the likes of City and Chelsea have better accountants and lawyers.
We're in League One. I'd hope so. Doesn't detract from them being woeful. They’re all better than we are
I think Everton admitting it has made it easier. As far as I’m aware the others have denied the charges and are still being investigated. It will be interesting to see the outcome, eventually. This, this and this again And I'll add Chelsea into this as well, more dodgy stuff came out yesterday
