Everton -10

I wonder if we’ll now see some legal cases brought by teams that went down last 2 seasons. I don’t think there should be much sympathy for them, they retained their PL status and the money, when they should have gone down.

In their favour, they’ve got the right manager in this situation. Will be proper siege mentality.
It has been brought up and seems a real possibility

The chair of the commission, David Phillips KC, also referenced applications for financial compensation from current Premier League clubs Burnley and Nottingham Forest and last season's relegated sides, Leicester City, Leeds United and Southampton.

Phillips said he was "satisfied that the applicant clubs have potential claims for compensation" - but noted the commission holds no "inherent jurisdiction" and it is instead "the role of the Premier League to bring and prosecute complaints".

Well if they maintain 70% of their current form they'll be more than okay. Especially when the three promoted championship sides look massively overmatched, especially Sheffield U and Burnley. I think Luton will pick up some points at home, plenty of teams won't fancy playing at Kenilworth Road.

I have a lot of time for Everton, some of the best supporters in England and they'll back their team in a way that not many clubs can.

Rarely watch PL games. If City dont get punished, clubs should take action over the PL. Infact clubs should take action over UEFA and national team over FIFA over the way they deal with members matters. But I bet non do.

Relegate City and Chelsea you have two big clubs ready for European super league. Just the excuse they need.
with PSG Barcelona and Madrid all looking like their in the sh….its only a matter of time.
PL could cut cause damage to themselves depending on outcomes.

I can’t understand why Everton are appealing stating Covid and the war in Ukraine are contributing factors, when that affected every other team in the country without breaking the rules .roll on the Man City and Chelsea enquiries, both could end up in the northern / southern prem leagues.

Seems Everton are blaming Spurs for their financial problems because they only paid 60 mil for Richarlison when they wanted 80 mil. As far as excuses and blame goes that is up there with the best. Think they are lucky they even got 60 mil for him.

It's an interesting spectacle, particularly inasmuch as it shows why clubs can't be trusted to regulate one another.

The EPL keep shooting themselves in the foot, and more and more people are now taking notice.
