Everton v Liverpool

Looking forward to it. I usually hope that the best team wins and there's no ridiculous VAR stuff but I wouldn't mind an Everton victory as ultimately Liverpool will I think come out the stronger as the season goes on. The more open the PL is the better.

My Everton season Ticket holding Postman was virtually running his round this morning and said the whole office had been in by 4:15 so they could finish and get to watch the match - His prediction 4-1 to Everton

Decent game on the radio. Seems like Liverpool set off like a train, but Everton got a bit more going on as half progressed.

Pickford a very lucky boy. Irrespective of whether VVD was a toe-nail offside, he should have got a red card.
Was it dangerous play? If it wasn't then no reason to card him surely? I don't know cos I can't see it, so I'm asking a genuine question!

Yep, I thought so. And the surprise is that Peter Walton has just disagreed with the VAR ref and said it should have been a red card. As pointed out a tackle like that anywhere else on the pitch and not by a goalkeeper in the area and it was a pretty obvious red.

Definite red card. Guessing ball was dead on offside decision so VAR didn't pay much attention to the ensuing challenge.
Gives Everton a chance if Richarlison gets his finger out

Cheers boss - talksport comms just said it was horrendous as well - they didn't make much of it at the time.

Could go either way - VVD gone off, Adrian in goal, makes Liverpool vulnerable, potentially, if Everton can keep them at bay.

Agree with 20s & Fargo.
Definite Red card. So if a player breaks some ones leg on purpose but the player is Offside, it's not a foul?? 🙄
